I’ve seen a lot of claims that this guy shouldn’t be far from the majors and others saying he’s a project that will take time.

It’s okay to just stop at “I don’t know anything about this stuff”. He's thrown 53 innings of college baseball and a TJ surgery already under his belt. The former is kind of great, and the latter is a prerequisite.

Ross was just extended, so he's a sunk cost. Maybe some coaches get fired to show that they're doing something Considering the goal was to suck this season he seems to be getting exactly what the front office wanted from this team. They will suck again in 2023 and then can make a manager change before his final season under contract, when most managers get fired. -
What? Fleeing? Who has left that the Blackhawks didn’t openly push out the door? Just saying that I'm seeing a lot of Blackhawks signing with other teams today. Maybe not significant players Literally guys they didn’t offer qualifying contracts to or otherwise traded previously. There has been nobody they wanted to sign that left. They are trying to get guys to flee on their own.

Davidson got another 1st rounder, signing Max Domi.

They’ve been trying to trade him for two years with no success, so the trade value thing doesn’t matter. I guess he makes about a million more than guys they’ll replace him with? But what really might matter is pressuring Kane to ask for a trade by getting rid of another guy he likes. I think Davidson is in “tear down for the tank’s sake” and doing a really pour job of managing assets.

There’s hardly any consensus on anybody past the top half of the first, these guys are 17/18 year olds.
