  1. Thought this was game of thrones thread when I saw this post
  2. It includes average route by RBs and maybe the bears have relatively few rb routes out in the flat since they have to stay in and help with pass protection. It’s also 2 games with barely any passing plays, probably incredibly pointless stat.
  3. I wanted so bad to be the first one to say something like this but I was saving it for at least one more week Haha. Hey, he hasn’t been good, it’s only week 2 and I’d love to see him play better and succeed but I find myself searching for positives. Week 5 may have been a little aggressive but if there are plays that can be made - and he’s simply not progressing and pulling the trigger - another move is necessary. necessary? There is no necessity to bring in Seman. It may become necessary to move on from Fields after 2023, but this (week 5 of 2022) is a really stupid premise.
  4. This is supposed to be a point in their favor? It all comes back to the point that Poles set Fields up to fail and it’s looking very much like Fields is going to make his boss’s plan come to fruition.
  5. And we are all allowed to be annoyed at your annoyingly wrong take on what it takes to overturn a play in replay.
  6. Very few elite qbs enter the league with this low of a level of talent around him
  7. That’s not how replay works. They don’t draw lines and assume things. It has to be clear and that wasn’t clear. If the roles were reversed we’d be apoplectic that they overturned a call without irrefutable evidence. It probably was a touchdown, but barely and not clear on replay. If you run a play that leaves you open to that problem from an inch out, that’s on you. And even if they overturn that call the bears don’t win that game. Just freaking stop already.
  8. the orange line on this drawing is well outside the end zone
  9. The point is that it was called short on the field and replay rules have always been “clear and obvious evidence needed to overturn”. Based on the reviews I saw, I don’t think it’s clear and obvious at all. As said, the real issue was Nagy-ess play call, I do believe this staff is a step up and it was a mistake they'll learn from and we won't see it again. the real issue is the lack of talent on the line and receiver (not to mention every level of defense). If that’s a better play call they might cover the spread, but they weren’t winning.
  10. Where is Mooney? I believe he’s included
  11. Make it 99, this defense is soft and pathetic. Lol. I'll go double. I’m inclined to do that but want to confirm beforehand does it stand for Don’t Vacate Opponents Accretion? Because I definitely think this team is top ten in that.
  12. Hey they were 7th after week 1. I’d hold off David and see how many more monsoons we play in before settling You're a horsefeathering moron lol Make it 99, this defense is soft and pathetic.
  13. You can’t complain about that play not getting overturned. It was a terrible play call that failed. There’s something called setting yourself up for failure and that is how this game/season is going.
  14. Got too much Shaheen in him. He’s got hands of stone. He’s maga?
  15. To be fair there's an outrageous amount of GB holding going on out there, don't think there's been a run play were Jenkins hasn't been tugging a Bears jersey. They just showed a video complimenting the bears offensive line and every play was an uncalled hold
  16. top 10? $100 you're on. i feel like i should suggest some injury protection but horsefeathers it lol You can just give me $90 now and we’ll call it even.
  17. The parting of the Red Sea
  18. That was Green Bay’s plan all along because they know the Bears can’t stop them They also can’t stop the pass
  19. This offense sucks
  20. I mean, he doesn’t have a line and they have no weapons, why would a coaching staff feel comfortable throwing downfield?
  21. This defense sucks
  22. I only watched the last couple months but no issues.
  23. I was watching the same feed on SNY, did you notice that Keith Hernandez kept gushing over Assad’s stuff? A friend texted me as such, but I was preoccupied earlier in the game, turned it on in the 8th.
