  1. Roquan to Ravens
  2. So is the consensus “good loss”?
  3. He lost me when he was Greg Gabriel. Total meathead imbecile.
  4. IDK why that matters. They were picking up ALL the salary if they kept him on the team, plus carrying whatever dead cap next year when they inevitably cut him after this season. A 4th is perfectly fine. the cap space you gain is worthless if you don’t spend it and it will be nigh on impossible for Poles to spend the cap space he has available. There are only so many Lucas Patricks out there.
  5. Any 26 year old returners expected to be available in the 4th round?
  6. 10 point dogs. Seems like a prime opportunity to horsefeathers the bed for the bears after that domination against a subpar patriots team. The designed QB run probably won’t work as well against the cowboys. They got a short week with another road game. This one sets up for real “moral victory” status. A well played loss would be fine. A win puts them on the fast track to actually competing this year.
  7. Oh, I'm sure Zappe is fine. I thought he was fairly impressive on the whole, that dude can be deadly accurate when he wants to be. His best play was a terrible pass
  8. Champagne problems

  10. I'm not talking about the decision to cut him, I'm talking about the decision to list all the ways he horsefeathers up over the last 2 weeks on the official team press release announcing the move. I know....I'm saying the only things he has done have been bad, so you either list nothing or you list the handful of plays that he was in. It feels mean, but it's not like he also caught 3 TD or had a 100 yard game that they could mention The standard is just say he was released, then you give info on the replacement.
  11. They didn’t have to list each of his mistakes individually when announcing the release. That’s mean.
  12. in my life i've gotten the bulls dynasty the blackhawks quasi-dynasty (including the riveting game 6 comeback) the 2016 cubs comeback there's really nothing left for me to experience You weren’t alive for the 1985 Bears? Never mind, I now realize that was nearly 40 years ago. horsefeathers, I am getting old. No you idiot it wasn’t nearly 40 years ago because I was ten years old that season so if…
  13. Did he really say a 54 yard field goal is an 80% proposition? Eta He said high 80’s, does he not realize you snap the ball backwards on a fg attempt? I thought he said 34 yard fg, but that would also be wrong He was talking about going for it on 4th and 4 vs attempting the FG. When the ball is on the 36 that is a ~53 yard attempt, and in no way a high 80s percentage kick.

  15. It pretty much is for receivers. It’s at the very least, youngish.
  16. I cannot imagine a scenario where they are unwilling to spend in 2023. Ownership has opened the wallet in the past, and Poles already punted his first season. It’s not like you can carryover unused cap for future use. They have to spend in 2023.
  17. I have 0 desire to trade for another WR this year. I don't see the point. DJ Moore will likely go for a Day 2 pick, if not a 1st. He's not going to put the Bears over the hump this year. And the GM just stockpiled 11 picks when he started with 5. I don't think he's willing to go down to 4-5 picks in Year 2 for a WR in a rebuilding year. I’m sure poles won’t do it because it wrecks the plan of not having any good players, but I’d absolutely do it. He’s young enough to be a part of the offense for a decade, which could last through 4-5 QBs and 3-4 head coaches.
  18. For context:
  19. Short week and bears are home underdogs to a 1 win team
