Co-signed. One of the big appeals of football is that the games are once a week. It's bad enough that there's a Monday Night game, and spreading into Thursday just makes it worse. That's a weird interpretation. I've never heard about a big appeal being only one day of the week for games. There's always been Saturdays and Sundays for football. For a very long time there has been Saturday Sunday and Monday, and for a pretty fair amount of time there has been Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I hate having my team play on a Thursday without a bye preceding, but I sure as hell don't hate that there is a game on tonight.

didn't he decide not to prosecute sandusky in 1998? and he disappeared in 2005. Also this weird tidbit: It would be pretty crazy if somebody involved had the guy killed. But maybe he realized he made a huge mistake in allowing PSU people to convince him not to prosecute, and he killed himself after being confronted with more evidence or victims.

I have a feeling that if there is further fallout from this it could have something to do with the wife having knowledge and/or participating in or facilitating the rapes. Or maybe they tied it into the Rosie Larson case and the dungeon below the gym.

The NFC North is dominating the NFC South head-to-head this season. In my opinion the NFC South is the second best division in the NFC behind the NFC North... By default. The AFC appears to be the superior conference this year, at least 2 of the NFC divisions are pretty bad. I don't think the South is that great either. NO is pretty good, but Carolina stinks, Tampa is schizophrenic and I'm not sure about Atlanta either. How do you even come close to this assumption?

That is fair and reasonable. I do feel bad for supporters of the program who thought Joe was better than this. I was responding to truffle who has been much less rationale than you about this subject. I used to admire psu and the program. It sucks and aside from all the real victims of sexual assault there are people whose lives have been turned upside down.

Yes, a young person at the bottom rung of an organization is going to be under pressure to protect his chances for further employment. It's not a ringing endorsement of his actions or anything. But it's more understandable than the men in charge conspiring to ignore the problem.
