I think if we get to the post-season that Soriano needs to start performing up to snuff with his contract and Derrek Lee also needs to start producing. Otherwise we will get destroyed. want to see production...throw him the 5-hole... with his injuries...he is no longer useful as a leadoff hitter I believe we tried that already. right for what, one or two games? that really isn't trying things out in my opinion
this is true... plus if soriano really were to be moved to the one of the middle spots, i really like the idea of a RH and then LH 1 2 punch...followed by a nasty middle order...i think it would be effective...i would trust pie to hit in the 2 hole as well, but i don't think lou will

why did you make the point of him pretty much only being suited to play DH...which is very very true...and then say you wouldn't mind him in cubbie blue? you are silly  personally, if his gynormous head decides to come back next year...it will be with someone in the AL he wants to win a championship (those words actually surprised me...and he also wants to hit 3000) i am interested to see where he goes...
um yeah...the series with the brewers at the end of the month... i whole-heartedly believe that we must win that series i think it is a statement series, and it will help us take the division
oh come on...don't try to pull the greatest song writer of all time through the mud just because you are upset or annoyed at somebody lennon doesn't appreciate it and neither do i that is all signed... a somewhat serious response
yep, if we don't make it, i wish we never even would have made it to first...even if it was just by percentage points... way too much of a painful tease oh well...nothing left to do but sit back and see what happens... i am not overly optimistic though
anyone else getting really anxious and nervous for tomorrow's game? i am going to be at work, but i am hoping upon all hope that i come home and find out that aramis played and that he was O.K. if he doesn't look right...it could be the end... however, if he is O.K., we may be able to hang on till soriano gets back... i still have hope...but it is smaller now i think it is certain that we need to sweep the brewers at the end of the month... we MUST win the series...of course...but...i think a sweep would finally put the bamboozle on the central...
I don't think we have much of a chance. Of course our two most productive hitters are hurt. Or course our GM handicapped us with not improving the team at the dealine. Instead he lessened it by sending Soto out. Unreal. sending soto out? he got traded? huh? um, but no seriously... EVERYBODY FRIGGIN GO OUTSIDE TONIGHT AND WISH UPON THE BLOODY SHOOTING STARS PLEASE we need some magic
wow i saw the daytona cubs get spanked today 6-2 and now this good lord crappy crappy day hey everybody...don't forget that the meteor shower starts tonight well all need to go out and wish upon as many shooting stars as humanly possible we are going to need it
