    have you been to the metrodome? no i haven't...only to the trop and that craptastic place the marlins play in... but...dang...i just can't imagine anything being worse than the trop...

    No, but the naming rights will be sold to the highest bidder with the Wrigley company already stating that they wouldn't be in the bidding. With a new corporate ownership of the Wrigley name, some bright exec might find keeping the name of the field the same would buy both quality advertising and good will. yep, this is exactly what i was thinking...it is an encouraging sign...and again if nothing else... Mars Field kinda badass in its own way

    matthews is pretty freaking awesome reed's catch is very nice though...his catch is so cool because it looks like the ball just barely rolls through the bottom lip of his glove...so close to being dropped...

    On a related note Lou doesn't care and is sticking with Theriot. on another related note, should theriot start to struggle or have more complicated back issues, lou now has a short stop on the bench whom he has faith in quite honestly, seeing cedeno hitting and having plate discipline is probably the best thing i have seen so far this season...i mean seriously, it is about time our kids started joining the party and contributing

    I wonder if a team like the Giants might be interested in Fontenot? As you said, with Cedeno/Theriot/DeRosa at the 2b/ss in Chicago, and Eric Patterson at AAA, I don't see the reason to keep Fontenot once Soriano returns. what exactly do you want from the giants for fontenot?!?

    well, if they are going to win the pennant...if we duck them in the DS then we will have to face them in the CS... don't get me wrong, i have a tremendous amount of respect for that club, but there is still a very long way to go before all is said and done

    my guess is next year And will probably help towards only one AL East team making the playoffs this year. 80-85 wins this season would not surprise me one bit nope...next season will be nasty for them though as long as health is good... kazmir price shields garza neimann? that is a gross gross gross rotation if they could just land another outfielder they would be really intimidating
