The Orioles would surely say no for a Bundy/Wood swap, but that alone does not necessarily mean that it'd be a good trade for the Cubs. My big issue with Bundy isn't just the TJS, it's that plus the fact he's pitched like 17 innings in AA and another 1.2 or whatever in the majors. IOW, given the fact that he just had TJS in June, it's possible that you're not getting any above-replacement-level MLB innings as a starter until mid-2015, if not later. I recall that the Orioles hadn't really ever properly stretched him out as a starter in the minors even prior to his injury; that added to the fact he'd likely start in AA once he's healthy, and you could be looking at quite awhile before he's ready -- physically or otherwise -- to start for the Cubs. Now Shark for Gausman AND Bundy would have my attention, but I doubt the Os would do that either. (If I were them I would think long and hard about it, though; as has been mentioned often, the Orioles are similar to the Pirates and that they should absolutely cash in their prospects now while they can, given the perennial strength of the divisions they play in.)
