    I have heard news reports recently of bad economic times and world wide food shortages , this board provides me much relief because there's a large portion of this board getting fat off all the crow they have eaten this first half off 2008. (Dempster/Theriot/Edmonds) What a great reminder that sometimes this is a wild wild game.

    I'm sorry but if Bruce or some other writer doesn't call Lou out at some point and grill him at a press conference about his abuse of Marmol already . He has a six run lead let him pitch out of it , or bring in Wuertz no need for Marmol here with a six run lead.

    Pay a little more attention next time he pitches. He does it all the time. Not only on visits to the mound. How is that any worse than most pitchers having to take off their hat and "fix" the hair on their forehead which is also believe it or not sweaty?

    If there aren't going to use Pie/Murton in the outfield at this point I would have signed Lofton rather than go with Patterson.

    Its not all that bad just a bunch of complaining over nothing big. The angles are coming only from the upper deck on the third base side and the visitors dugout area. Not a big deal just a bunch of complaining over something thats not a big deal.

    You have to love the entire team wearing their pants up high showing off the socks. Looks sharp.

    Spilbourgh and Cook would make a nice haul to go along with Fuentes.

    Fuentas would be a huge asset to have at the back end of the pen , wonder if Lou will get his and get a package deal with Spilbourghs included.

    Wolf/Bell/Giles If Edmonds continues to hit we won't need Giles but that would be a nice haul for the stretch run, I would only want Wolf or Maddux if they take Marquis off are hands.
