I'm so very glad that you guys took the QB killer off of our hands. You know he had Mallett lining up at TE at a HS camp.

I believe that he's a FA after the season and at best would be a type B. Let me know if I'm wrong. So, if that is the case, do we re-sign him? I don't think that we're going to find much better in the FA market or our farm system.

I second that one. I actually think that with a little command improvement, Hart could be a pretty good one.

I saw Todd pitch for my beloved Razorbacks and I'm quite glad that the Cards gave him up. He's got a wicked slider that was an MLB plus slider in college. That being said, the Cards have raped their farm system this year for two rentals. Good job.

Yeah, wasn't he a fire baller a couple of years ago? His change up isn't that good when his fastball is average.

Agreed, he's got control problems and that's it. He's still throwing hard and still has snap when he gets his slider right.

One hell of a game tonight, but Arkansas put it all out there and short of having one of those Georgia SEC tournament runs (basketball), they don't stand a chance of beating LSU. Here's hoping for a miracle. Go Hogs.

Can anyone tell me what his BA has been since he hit his first HR this season? Curious if he's still getting on base as much.

What you've posted has proved nothing. Phillies -- They could hit. DLee is doing about as well as he's going to for the foreseeable future. TB -- Might have been the best rotation in baseball, and had really young players that were adjusting. LAD -- Might have been the best rotation in the NL, and had really young players that were adjusting. Now, with Z, Harden and Marshall, you never know which pitcher is going to show up, we don't have any youngsters that we're hoping will get better, and we aren't extremely young either. We miss DeRosa and Wood more than I ever thought we would. I hope we get better, but it's not going to surprise me if the Cards run away from the division.

...and where in fourth place, 4 games back and sitting at .500. We can't hit, we're injury prone, our pitching is adequet at best, our bull-pen is pretty bad, our starters are hit or miss for the most part, our bench is terrible. We don't have much room down, so lets hope we start heading up.
