  1. I've got a buddy of mine that is a Cards fan that is making fun of me pretty good, because of the "fight" the Cubs put up in the playoffs. He's sending me jokes and stuff like that. Anyway, I need pictures or jokes like the pic that says "Cuck the Fardinals" Thanks.
  2. being on TBS. No listening to that Joe Buck. I've gotten to the point where I have to watch AFC football on Sundays just to avoid him. Edited by mod: Disguising curse words is not acceptable. Just don't use them.
  3. c'mon guys. noone doubts that the SEC is the best conference, but you're really putting perfume on a big turd of a day. Arkansas loses to a fairly ordinary Alabama squad Tennessee gets crushed by Florida Auburn loses to Mississippi state the only two teams from 16-25 that lost are SEC teams. if the pollsters find a way to vault both Alabama and Kentucky into the top 25, over several other teams that also won today, and without dropping either of the two SEC teams out, thus resulting in seven SEC teams in the top 25, it would be an absolute joke. I'd like to see any other team ranked 16-25 in the poll go into Bama and do what the Hogs did tonight. It's VERY tough to almost overcome Houston Nutt's stupidity. Go Hogs.
  4. What's up with nobody wanting to play double headers anymore? Why use a mutual off-day when they could just play two tomorrow?
  5. Reds tie Brewers 5-5 top 6
  6. Doesn't help with terrible balls and strikes
  7. Brewers/Astros 2-2 going into the bottom of the 7th
  8. Thanks man, that's still an excellent record with him up.
  9. Where do you guys find these off the wall stats at?
  10. I seen a stat that showed us to be 37-7 with him on the team. That's hard to believe, but if true, just remarkable.
  11. I would agree with you except for the fact that he isn't on the 40-man roster. I'm not sure who they could move to make room for him.
  12. I don't understand the undying love for Dunn around here. He's a terrible left fielder that strikes out 180+ times a year. Yeah he gets on base, but what's he going to do when he's up in a pressure situation against a good closer... STRIKE THE F**K OUT!!! I'd love to see his numbers against a pitchers that are considered above average.
  13. I'm guessing that's our next move... a Griffey deal sure would have really looked good now.
  14. I think that if Griffey had never been injured for such a long period of time, in the prime of his career, he'd most definetly be considered the best ever. He plays in a time that is tougher than any other, and he's never been even questioned about steriod use. I hope that he can stay healthy for a couple more years and hopefully pass Mays at the very least. BTW, I consider Maddux and Clemens 1 and 1A on the list of best pitchers ever.
  15. Anyone know whatever happened to the goatee man? I thought that he would be a Cy Young contentender annually with Boston.
  16. I'm hoping that he's back by the Reds series, so that I can see him pitch.
  17. I really like Prince Fielder, but other than that I can't think of any young talent in our division that I find myself rooting for (other than the obvious). How the hell did we start hating the Brewers so easily. I can remember feeling somewhat sorry for them just a couple of years ago.
  18. There is no denying that he is an excellent rookie, but the guy is WAY too full of himself.
  19. Two questions: When does Kendall become a FA? Who the hell is Blevins and what is he rated in our system. This could be a very good trade if Kendall figures out how to get on base again. He could solve any second hitter problem that we have, and it makes the bottom of our line-up much better if Kendall can do the job in the two hole.
  20. I hate Lamb, he gets the big hit against us every time.
