Not sure but it wasn't a good decision by Lou. Gaudin's thrown 7 pitches in the last week, all of which came on Tuesday (granted, he did throw 52 on Aug. 22). But what makes it curious is the fact that the pitcher's spot is due up first next inning. Since Wood is unavailable and Marmol would presumably pitch the ninth, I'm not sure who would pitch the eighth. I bet it's Howry after looking halfway decent yesterday. Not that I want it to be. Reed as double switched into the game so Shark is still pitching Oh yeah, Howard was safe. We got a break.

WTH? Do you watch other teams? Seriously, I'm not trying to blast you but your comments aren't making sense when you consider other team's offenses. The Phillies normally score a lot of runs as well (not as many as the Cubs) and they have 2. Let's go Ram

Not an error because you can't assume the DP. The run scored from third but the ball didn't get away far enough to allow Ward to advance a base (if it had gotten away an error would have been recorded).
