Last year (my first year playing fantasy baseball), my first round pick was DLee. I wouldn't have picked him first round had I been present (I missed the first 4-5 rounds). That put a big damper on my team. I ended up ok though with Jose Reyes, Jermain Dye, CC Sabathia, David Wright, Roger Clemens, BJ Ryan and a few other people I can't remember.

We had a phpbb forum hacked here on campus a few years ago, and after that, we just disabled the forums in general. It seems to me that (even with the security fixes) that phpBB is still unreliable against hack attempts. Also, it wasn't as if someone isolated the nsbb.com forums... basically, someone sends out a "bot" or just does a search for forums using the phpbb software, and then they automatically hack the site. There doesn't even have to be a user at the computer, just a zombie (that's what makes it even more scary... zombies on the interwebs!!!!!).

I think a lineup of Soriano DLee ARod Aramis Jones Murton Barret DeRosa pitcher would be nice... I like DLee in the #2 spot because he has a pretty good OBP and has some decent speed. ARod has speed too (at least he used to), so I wouldn't mind him there either, but I think DLee would respond better than ARod. Again, this is all a dream, but oh well. -
What has caused that stat is two fold... A) He is very accurate with his pitches B) His fastball tops out at like 84mph, so hitters do have time to get out of the way.

I'm going to get flamed for this, but what if Pie isn't ready for the bigs yet and he sucks and we run him off (ala corey)? Looking at his AAA numbers and his winter numbers, he doesn't appear to be MLB ready to me. There is no need to rush the kid when we have people who can aptly do the job required. Jones was not a slouch offensively last year. He hit .303 with 21HR, .358OBP and .528SLG against righties last year... those are numbers most teams would love to have on their roster.

I think this is the year, but who knows. At any rate the Mavs turnaround has been incredible. It has been impressive, but for a while there, early on, it was like a 3-Ring Circus with Cuban yapping and causing a scene. Frankly though, I'd love to see a little of that at wrigley... the owners actually Caring about the team. -

Until the Mavericks with the NBA Finals, I'm going to be skeptical about Cuban's ability to run a team. That being said, I think the Mavs have the best chance this year... -

I'm almost sick of this subject... lol. And I don't think it'll be too difficult for Floyd to see action in 120+ games if he's used "sparingly." If he stays healthy, he's a heck of a bat coming off the bench and used in the right situations.

Batters get to wear a ton of armor that protects them when they do get hit, and then they are awarded a free base... so there is no incentive to get out of the way of the pitch anymore.

I gained 30lbs of fat in my first year of college by just sitting around and eating... So I'm sure if someone ate a lot and actually did something other than play counter-strike and day of defeat all day long, it wouldn't be too difficult to put on 20lbs of muscle.

That sucks... I kinda wish the cubs would suck some more so they'd unload all the bandwagon fans ans the high ticket prices. unfortunately, it looks like we're headed into a successful season. :-\
