I did it in SoCal. None of the obstacles were that challenging. There were people who looked like they'd have trouble walking a 5K on a flat course, and they did fine. I'm kind of afraid of heights, and that was the hardest part for me. Even though the obstacles aren't that high (maybe 25 feet for the tallest?), I get skittish up there. Crawling over the horizontal cargo net was awkward, but it wasn't hard. Anyway, I'm betting you'll be fine. And it was a pretty fun time. People are there just having a blast. There's another race coming up here in LA, some kind of zombie run. I believe it's a 5K with obstacles, but you also have flags (like from flag football) on your waist. As you run, people in zombie makeup chase after you and try to snag your flags. If you finish with at least one flag, you're eligible for prizes. http://runforyourlives.com/ My brother-in-law and I are doing a zombie run next year. We didn't find out about it soon enough and all the zombie slots were full. As for the Warrior Dash, it wasn't too bad. The heat was pretty brutal, and we walked over a mile and a half to get there (to avoid paying the $20 parking fee. We're cheap). Definitely know what I'd do differently next time.
