  1. Wow... that sucks!
  2. If the Refs really wanted this strike to end, and for the NFL to meet their demands, they'd start hauling that stupid rat to all the stadiums.
  3. I'll be watching their game this week much more than I usually would. They gave Detroit a tough time and I'm not sure if it means anything. They have two pretty good corners. I don't know anything about their front 7. Laurinitis and Long. That's about it. Their O-line is worse than the Bears. Especially if Saffold is still out.
  4. Man, that would piss me off. I feel like the Cubs had/have developed their Central Illinois fan base through the Chiefs. At least I'm a fan because of the Chiefs, so there's that.
  5. I wonder how much of it is Cutler trying to light a fire under Webb? I doubt it, but I'll still sit here and wonder. And I'm done wondering. I think the skeleton of Orlando Pace would do a better job than Webb.
  6. I don't think the Rams will be a cakewalk, but the Bears should be able to beat them. Their DB's have improved a bunch this off-season. They have troubles against the run, still, and we have a major size advantage (aside from Trumaine Johnson) with our WR's, so hopefully we can exploit that. Courtland Finnegan does a good job of being a dick, and the Bears seem to respond negatively to that (re: AJ Hawk).
  7. That looked like a hold on Forte to me.
  8. I like Jake. Never seems to speak ill of the Cubs.
  9. I somehow accidentally sat Frank Gore in favore of DeAngelo Williams. :banghead: Wouldn't have mattered though. EVERY person on my opponents team out produced their projected points except for Cam Newton.
  10. I think Bogar lives (or lived) in Normal... Might like to be back? Looks like he went to Buffalo Grove HS, and EIU as well. I knew the EIU part, not the Buffalo Grove part
  11. He looked really good last night. Hitting 97-98, locating, just some nasty stuff.
  12. My lip reading skills are pretty bad. Can anyone tell me what he's saying? Looks like Foot yeah, foot yeah. Do he and his brother share interests?
  13. Looks like old school Cleveland Browns fans have finally gotten their wish. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/bal-art-modell-former-baltimore-ravens-and-cleveland-browns-owner-dies-at-92-20120905,0,2705999.story
  14. Who should start at QB for me in week 1? Rodgers is playing SF and they have a very good defense. Cutler is playing Indy and they have a poorly rated defense...
  15. Wait, I thought I heard the Redskins picked him up. He posted on facebook that he had joined the Pats.
  16. Stupid question, but what is a "Flex"?
  17. How many Tight Ends do the patriots need? They just signed UH Oh Hoomanawanui.
  18. If I'm the one with MJD, yes. I trade straight up for Megatron.
  19. Thanks. I'm really hoping that I can trade one of my surplus WR for a decent RB down the road.
  20. This is my first year playing FF. I've played Fantasy Baseball in years past, but it doesn't have nearly the level of difficulty as football. Our draft was last night, and I had the top pick in snake style 10 team league. I was really hoping for a 3-5 pick so I wouldn't get left behind when trends started happening. QB: Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler RB: Doug Martin, Frank Gore, DeAngelo Williams WR: Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson, Malcolm Floyd, Sydney Rice TE: Jimmy Graham, Owen Daniels K: Dan Bailey D: Houston I wasn't thinking when I drafted both Cruz and Nicks, but they both scored a lot of FF points last year, so maybe I'll be ok? I'm really week in the RB department. They started going right after I had made my picks and had to wait 18 picks before I was up again. We (seem) to be a 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, k, d league. Not sure what is considered "normal".
  21. Cubs told Greenberg "No thanks." http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/chi-cubs-take-a-pass-on-greenbergs-comeback-20120904,0,4216882.story
  22. Astros. http://deadspin.com/5939675/astros-player-suffers-the-most-astros-injury-ever
  23. Allen looked pretty solid as well. Can't really go wrong with either as a 3rd RB/ST, though Booker has an advantage in KO returns.
  24. Oh, there you are Perry.
