  1. Jeffery coming back for the Houston game is in line with a broken hand timetable. Will be nice to have him back.
  2. Need 2: Josh Gordon Fred Jackson Mikel LeShoure I'm leaning the latter 2, but I'm not sure if I would had Gordon not played in that crap weather game. I'd start him over A. Brown if it wasn't for that porous Giants secondary. Fjax is playing the Houston D, who just shut down Ray Rice, and he's in a timeshare.
  3. I'd love to add Jared Cook to this offense.
  4. Ouch. I sat Stafford. Didn't end up mattering though. Antonio Brown is a bust. I was debating between him, Austin, Decker, and Thomas when I drafted. Whiffed the only way I could.
  5. Looks fatter than 215. Not that it matters.
  6. The lint will definitely short out your phone. Mine would keep saying it was connected to the charger, even when miles away, and would turn off on its own. I just dealt with it a month or so ago, and realized its a common problem in my type of phone, exacerbated by the fact they don't have covers for the charger connection dock. I air dusted it and used a paperclip as lightly as I could to clear off the metal pins and it fixed it right up.
  7. You can clean the bottom thing once in a while
  8. This is as good a time as any for Cutler to be nursing an injury with this part of the schedule. Bears will run all over Carolina and Tennessee.
  9. Schefter said the tests were inconclusive and they won't know more until Friday. For some reason. So he may have gotten lucky actually. Might end up being a 1-2 week thing instead of 4-6.
  10. Dalton
  11. Thanks. I didn't know he dropped that many passes.
  12. Who would you rather own going forward, Jason Witten or Brandon Pettigrew? Witten just had a huge game, but got a lot of it in garbage time with Orton. Is he getting healthy and coming back as the Witten of old, or was it a fluke and he will go back to 5 or 6 catches while doing a lot of blocking and being ignored in the redzone. Pettigrew has had drop problems, you have to think that improves though, only had 6 drops total last year. Both have a similar # of targets but Pettigrew gets more looks in the redzone. I'm thinking of offering Witten for Pettigrew during their bye weeks. Since I'm in standard, redzone targets for your TE are king. ETA: Witten does have a softer playoff schedule though.
  13. Instagram filters are the absolute worst.
  14. Sorry man, that wasn't directed to you. I just found his 2nd answer funny. Whatever, it's been a long day.
  15. Well I didn't know Keith Law watched more baseball than I did. Consider my opinions retracted.
  16. I know this is the Sit/Start thread and not the bitch about something no one else in the world cares about thread. But my TE position has scored 6 points in 4 games. That's worse than bad. Thanks Witten and the all of a sudden invisible Pitta.
  17. Greg Jenning's owner accepted Cardinals D and Cedric Benson for him. I already have the Seahawks D, good trade?
  18. I don't think you're gonna lose out any way here. Bush and Choice are both good flex plays this week. I would stick with Forte/Bush unless Fjax is sidelined, then I'd roll with Choice. I'd go with either of those 2 over Rice/Thomas.
  19. I dropped Cutler for Dalton. Easy call. I'm starting Cedric Benson over DeMarco Murray as well. Didn't think I'd say that this season.
  20. Also with my RB surplus I think it's time to toss a buy low offer at the Greg Jenning's owner.
  21. I'm in a similar situation, good RB options but one of my RB's facing a tough D. In my case, Murray against CHI. Usually I'll just 'play the stud' but I don't like the idea of sitting Benson against that NO run defense combined with Murray's early struggles. Also have to deal with BB jerking Ridley around. I have to choose 3 of: Murray Ridley Mathews LeShoure Benson Fjax I like Gore a lot more than Murray/Ridley right now, so it's different. I'd start Lynch/Gore/Thomas with confidence. ETA: Didn't know NYJ were struggling against the run so much.
  22. Well, I already feel bad about picking up Pitta over Bennett.
  23. I still want to see the game at Soldier Field later. As bad as this was, there were a few plays that could have changed how we're thinking about it. The defense overall did a fine job. We haven't been able to protect the QB since I can remember. Yet last year we were able to scheme it enough to at least give Cutler some time to throw. Tice needs to do that again. It's never going to be good without new personnel, but at a minimum they need to get Webb help regularly. I'm surprised they thought they could leave him out there alone. They should know better. I'm pretty concerned about Forte now -- high ankle sprain. Anyone know how long he will be out? I think the average timetable for that is 4-6 weeks. I also think having Rodriguez or Davis on Webb's side constantly might be necessary. Leaving him on an island can never be the answer.
  24. The Dline looked really strong. That's a big plus and I have no doubt the Bears are a playoff team. They can't beat Green Bay in Lambeau though. Everyone else manages to pass all over on GB, even Alex Smith, but the Bears can't. This is obviously a problem. They're still an OL away from being a Super Bowl team, big surprise. Even when Jay got protection his WR's were still playing their disappearing act. They just have little to no chance on that field this year. This will be a fun year to watch, no doubt. But the Bears aren't getting past GB or the 49ers.
