  1. Olsen vs NO Witten @ Sea Also, would anybody drop Olsen for Fleener? It seems like a toss up between the two but I think Fleener has more upside.
  2. The OL will surely go back to being terrible. And it's a shame because it was really fun seeing Jay get enough time to throw a deep ball in a nice cushioned pocket. Mathis is a big threat in the pass rush, with Freeney or not. Hughes is a waste however. In the 3-4 or any system. Guy can only perform in preseason and will likely be cut at the end of the year.
  3. I think Cincy vs Cle might put up more points than any other D next week. Cleveland is that bad.
  4. I have Witten and Olsen. I really think Witten is going to actually play and I'm going to have to put him back in my starting lineup.
  5. Figured we should get this started this year with a game being played tomorrow. Need a flex with Mathews out: Cedric Benson vs SF Stevan Ridley @ TEN Titus Young vs STL
  6. Ouch dew, that's rough. I don't like The Football Guy rankings, based on the way I drafted lines up with that. I think they gave me a 75% chance with great in-season management. 10 teamer: QB: Matthew Stafford, Jay Cutler RB: DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, Fred Jackson, Stevan Ridley, Cedric Benson, Mike Goodson WR: Percy Harvin, Antonio Brown, Titus Young, Reuben Randle TE: Jason Witten, Greg Olsen Seattle D/ST Stephen Gostkowski My team can easily catch the injury bug and crash and burn. But I think my WR's are underrated compared to their ADP and I like that I have 3 RB's with RB1 upside. Hopefully Ridley/Benson pans out and I can swing a trade during the season.
  7. I just did a mock draft on ESPN, where everyone surprisingly stayed in for 7 rounds. I quit when a few people dropped out, and was looking at this team at the time (3rd pick in 10 team snake): Aaron Rodgers Matt Forte DeMarco Murray Victor Cruz Eric Decker Vernon Davis Trent Richardson I'm drafting in my league tomorrow and am back and forth between strategies. But even with the value you can get at QB late, I don't like passing on Rodgers/Brady/Brees. That RB jumble in 2/3 is conflicting because I passed on Matthews, Charles and AP for Forte and Murray. But you have upside no matter what.
  8. He turned down an extension not too long ago as well. He's 1 PA shy of qualifying for the batting title. He can still win it with an adjusted BA (extra 0-1). McCutchen is at .359 and Votto .342.
  9. Big loss for the Giants.
  10. Recurring without a doubt. He can make it through the season though. Especially if this scope went well.
  11. Dillon Maples is really fun to follow right now. He's easily my favorite pitching prospect right now until he has TJS next year and he kinda sucks for a year or two.
  12. J'Marcus Whitman
  13. I just never bought into that completely. I don't get to stand there and watch practice. All I know is he's the most talented OL they have. Whatever shortcomings he had I think he could have made up for by now with technique, more experience, etc. I just don't think his potential at LT was average, while he could have only been All-Pro on the right side. Of course all I have to go on is really not much of anything.
  14. Douche and Turd Sandwich. I still believe just putting Carimi at LT from Day 1 would have been the best bet.
  15. Just like he doesn't care about football or his teammates or getting his pee in the toilet.
  16. As soon as I read Camden I got hit by some weird douche wave. But after recovering, I realized that Jay was probably just sitting there nodding his head and generally being awesome, while she rattled off names before choosing this specific embarrassment. He was none the wiser, and that's the type of not caring attitude I can truly appreciate.
  17. Well with Jax likely to PH tonight, that about seals up his line. 0-1 1K

  19. McDaniel's infatuation with Almora has been fun to follow.
  20. Yep. Started with Rodney Culver who died in the ValuJet crash in the FL Everglades in 1996. I think it's 1 plane crash, 2 car accidents, 2 heart attacks, and now 3 suicides. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144524441&page=5 Wow at this one -
  21. Oh no you didn't.
