Oh wow. Howard was so safe, Utley not so much. (Utley was safe, thanks to ultra slow-mo replays... but the ump couldn't have been able to tell, it was SO close)

I am so glad it worked out for us, but easy to see why he was confused. Looked like K-material to me. Of course, after ringing up Theriot and a called strike to Ramirez that barely cleared the middle of their shins, we deserved a borderline call to go our way in a big way.
