  1. I'm in no way putting a ton of blame on him, but how many pretty good chances did Hossa get and couldn't net just one, or didn't shoot instead of passing/lost puck before could shoot? Ugh.
  2. Unbelievable. Un-[expletive]-real. Well, go Rangers. I know I should root for Kings because we lost to them, but screw it. GO NYR.
  3. Kane getting his first playoff OT winner would be pretty sweet. :-s Did you mean of this season? Or overall? Cause Kaner buried that long distance slapper top shelf over Quick's left shoulder to end last season's WCF series in 2OT of Game 5. EDIT: Errr... I think I missed the invisible 'winky' there in your post.
  4. I really hope the Hawks can score quickly, cause the longer it goes, guh. And if we have to go more than one OT? :-&
  5. What was that pre-game pic about the Kings setting up for a possible ceremony after tonight's game?? If that is really what it was, this was Chicago's response to that nonsense; :-$ [-X [-(
  6. The 'Hawks have to win on Sunday night. To get down 3-1 in the series, and come back to tie it, with a chance to go to the SCF on home ice in G7?! :beg: x infinity
  7. I understand that hesitation, but you also have to believe that Chicago is good enough to survive "revenge". And they are. But anything can happen. So, like you, not really sure which is best for who to want as an opponent in the WCF. ETA: I just find it hard to root for ANA because no matter LAK's motivation for a series vs the Blackhawks; home ice is a big advantage in itself. Especially after getting extra rest. ETAem: But if Hiller is hurting in the next round, still; hard to pass up a chance against inferior(?) netminders, re: ANA.
  8. So.... "go Kings"? Or am I misreading what you're saying?
  9. Chicago against either. Sweet. :beg: for Blackhawks getting a chance at back-2-back Cups!
  10. [*knocking on wood* and realizing that am putting the cart before the horse...] But if Chicago wins the WCF, who gets home ice between them and the winner of MTL/NYR?
  11. Welp, the Bruins couldn't hold up their end of the deal for the bid at a SCF rematch. Too bad, so sad. Haha!
  12. ^ The taste of their tears is delicious. And I'd bet quite a bit that those guys are two of the dumb*** Wild fans who chanted Crawford's name when he was pwning their team.
  13. I love that there wasn't even a review necessary, because Sharp poked it home again, just in case. So, honestly, Hawks won 3-1 tonight in OT. Suck it Wild, and those dipturd fans for chanting Crawford's name as he kept stoning good scoring chance after chance.
  14. Am I missing something from that, or was that quite possibly the biggest flop in the history of sports?!?
  15. What a game... I did nothing but sit here and watch, and I am just wiped out. At least 3 more games of this.
  16. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EAT THAT, ESPNSTATS!!!! Wow, wow, wow, wow. Jesus, what a [expletive] game. And this was just G1. Oh my.
  17. Crawford is playing out of his fricking mind right now. Luck involved, but hey, it is in everything sports. .... unfortunately, Rask is playing great too.
  18. Time to make history, Hawks... or 'reverse the curse'. Whichever, just please win this [expletive] game.
  19. +1 And even though I can stay up and watch, not sure how many more OTs my heart and health can take.
  20. As long as its going by/through/around Rask, I will take it. Maybe we can get another one off a B's skate? Not pretty and would be deemed weak by the general public, but at this point, "a win is a win, is a win".
  21. Good thing I work 2nd shift tomorrow.... its gonna take a while to bleed out the adrenaline high of watching this game - when ever it ends - no matter the outcome. Good God did the Blackhawks just get as about as lucky as could be on that deflected shot that hit all post. PHEW!
  22. Very glad and happy the Blackhawks persevered through that horrible call, both on the double-penalty and the goal wave-off. Huge comeback after getting down 3-1 in the series. :yahoo: =D> I admit my lack of hardcore knowledge of hockey and its rules, but even so, how in the name of all that is holy and good, does Saad get called for a roughing on that play that disallowed the Hawks' likely regulation winner?? I mean, he's slammed into the Detroit bench by that [expletive], gets his face and upper body shoved on while in said bench, and then gets thrown to the ice for good measure by said Redwing [expletive]. What in the world did Saad rough on that whole series of events? The ice, with his back!? [-( The NHL - and that idiot ref - avoided a huge black-eye by seeing Seabrook deflect that shot off Kronwall & into the back of the net in OT.
  23. As someone who doesn't know everything about the rest of the NHL, and not even that much about the Blackhawks... I'm guessing the fact that Detroit won tonight is about the best thing for Chicago - or not?
  24. It was almost a foregone conclusion, barring an epic collapse, but still nice to have it in hand with a couple games left.
