    I wouldn't say it's my worst nightmare, but I do fear that happening. I more than fear it...I'm resigned to the FACT it will happen. And SD seems like a likely place. I still think he will be our #5 next year, though. The Cubs will non-tender him. Source? Or is this just speculation?

    There's no reason Soriano should bat any differently in any spot in the lineup (unless it's in front of the pitcher). If Soriano bats between Lee and Aramis like he should, that shouldn't do anything but help him.

    yeah, i'm not the only one who can't stand players who have OBP's that hover around the .380-.400 mark. I want power @ 1b as for the Brewers, they have their own issues. We have the money, they dont. yeah yeah yeah, the only way we win the division is if we buy it, but screw it, lets just be who we are and start throwing the money in the right places. not jim Hendry wise, but where its justifiable You want power? I want production. D-Lee had plenty of that.
