Not funny. ](*,) [-( Since nothing is happening in this thread, does someone want to explain why and from where Rick Roll originated?
Anybody who falls for that one is pathetic. <---pathetic. :(
Money shouldn't be the reason he wants to go to the Royals. We have to at least outbid them. If the White Sox blow him away with an offer (which, as I've said, I expect him to do), that's out of our control.
I had no idea who else to put at leadoff. Theriot? No. Soriano? I'd prefer him out of the leadoff spot. I guess you could go with a Fukudome-DeRosa 1-2 punch.
Let's assume for the moment we get Fukudome. Where does he bat? 1st? 2nd? 5th? 6th? CF Pie RF Fukudome 1B Lee 3B Ramirez LF Soriano C Soto 2B DeRosa SS Theriot That seems to be the best available.
I just want this to get resolved. I'm getting ancy. You could be in for a lot of anxiety. This could drag on for weeks. Will Kosuke visit the states and tour the various cities interested in him? I'm getting the impression this is going to be resolved by the end of the week. Maybe I'm wrong.
Rotoworld has some new stuff... New York Newsday reports that Kosuke Fukudome "has narrowed his choices to the Royals and Cubs." Take the report with a grain of salt, because the Royals previously indicated that they weren't interested in Fukudome and the Padres reportedly offered him a three-year deal worth $10 million per season Tuesday. The one thing that seems certain is that the Cubs have remained heavily interested in Fukudome from Day 1. What an odd pair of teams to narrow it down to, if true.
