  1. Hm... stupid radio. I want to see the catch.
  2. And here come the Cubs. Lets go guys!
  3. At this point, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Too bad the players would be Rich Hill, Felix Pie, Sean Gallagher, Ronny Cedeno, Sean Marshall, and Jose Ceda. I don't mind getting rid of Hill and Pie. You are increasing my suspicions that this is a joke account That was obvious sometime ago.
  4. I badly wanted Carlos Lee instead. Badly. He was by far the player I wanted most in that offseason. I've always considered him and A-Ram pretty similar hitters.
  5. The good news is that Jacque seems to have hated his time with the Cubs. Even if we were interested (which I'm sure we will be), I doubt that it'll be mutual.
  6. The replay isn't clear. I've rewatched it and so have others. He was out.
  7. The throw beat him by a mile. He's not fast and he really hasn't shown that he's a good base-stealer. Great he was safe though so how are you answering my post again? No he wasn't
  8. Are we seriously getting mad at Mark Cuban for exposing that not everyone in the US military is an angel?
  9. If Gallagher's up, I'd really prefer it to be as a starter. We'll see, I guess.
  10. I'm shockingly confident he's going to own the Cubs.
  11. Haha. You can't write that kind of thing.
  12. lol Nothing else to say.
  13. Thanks. Math is not my thing and neither is not being lazy. There has been an epidemic of quotes of: AVG/OBP/OPS and it's driving me slightly crazy. Oh, and welcome to the board. thanks! for the record, I think joe crede is a great ball player who is overrated by sox fans and underrated by cubs fans. he is one of the best defensive third basemen in the game, and we saw in '06 what he can do when healthy (30HR 90RBI, and was on pace for 40/100 through a good portion of the season) In 2006 his OPS was .829. Pretty good, yeah, but not "great." And he's never shown any indication that he can regularly achieve that kind of performance anyway. He's always been a pretty terrible hitter.
  14. I'm still willing to bet substantial dough that the Reds finish in third. They may be cold, but they're really truly not as bad as the Pirates.
  15. Awesome as usual. My same response, as usual.
  16. I never really bought the hype around this team... but now I do.
