  1. Should have been pulled as soon as the no-no was over. Another stupid call by Dusty. And then who would he have brought in? The invisible man who was warming up? You can't warm a guy up during the no-no because you then are showing no faith it happens all the time. Z isn't paying attention to who is in the bullpen.
  2. That's disgusting. If it is Prior's first game back after his rehab, and he is at 140 pitches through 7, with a no-no. You keep marching his ass out there. You never take that away from a pitcher. I would pull him. I think Prior would rather have the rest of his career than a no-no.
  3. any game in summer in Houston is a bad game it is a dome. you just have to never leave the ballpark.
  4. he should have been out after the hit. I hate Baker.
  5. [expletive] you baker. what's the point? get marmol in there.
  6. damn lucky hit. carlos is worth watching. baker should go get him - he is clearly laboring.
  7. no kidding - what's up with him?
  8. except for our pitchers - they aren't allowed to be sore.
  9. 4 of the top 5 teams and the fifth team is only 9 behind the 4th. only three of us get in boys!
  10. the best thing about that article is that the angels promptly won the world series that year. I miss Mo!
  11. I wish I could be at full strength, but at least I can blame the loss on injuries. :D yea, looks pretty over at this point barring a miracle day from abreu and lopez. you still scored pretty well - had I not been over 300 you probably win anyway. we'll meet again in September. - hopefully twice.
  12. he hits and hits and hits lately.
  13. earning his keep. too bad he isn't playing cf.
  14. well, no oswalt now either. geez tim, I wish my team would do something and put this away!
  15. now that ND is out, can you remove that abomination of a signature? :D
  16. hell, anybody can do it . . . http://sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/recap/MLB_20060603_ARI@ATL
  17. yea, that guy is killing me! The joke was that dunn would have to do it against oswalt . . . anyway, you interested in milledge and gordon in the other league? All I ask for is Webb . . .
  18. actually, I think a three homer day from one of your hitters is a better chance for you. My best chance for a 3 homer day just hit the DL. :( Dunn could do it . . .
  19. yea, arizona has a good enough team already.
  20. actually, I think a three homer day from one of your hitters is a better chance for you.
  21. I agree but you will be within 30 tomorrow morning. if my team goes silent, you will catch me.
  22. not to mention darryl kile. eli marrero also got hurt. of course when you play 15-20 times a year, odds are that some injuries will occur. cubs-dodgers also seems to be a problem with wood last year and lee this year.
  23. I'm not sure I want to see Nevin playing OF. Hitting-wise for sure though. There is no reason for neifi to be starting in front of nevin though.
  24. what's up with mulder? Is he just beat up from too many innings? He was the best of Oakland's big three so I'm wondering if he is hurt.
