  1. Upper Deck Box by far. No risk of having your view blocked by people constantly walking in front of you on the walkway and the view is fantastic. You're right on top of the terrace box seats, so it's not like you're further back, either. And it's much more open. No sense of being cramped under the overhang surrounded by thousands of people. It used to be a real no-brainer prior to a few years ago when UD Box seats were cheaper relative to other seating, but they've really raised the price on those seats recently. Here are a couple of examples: 418: http://www.seatdata.com/images/mlb_cubs/800x600/418.jpg 218: http://www.seatdata.com/images/mlb_cubs/800x600/218.jpg (first 3 or 4 rows, I believe) Unless you want to feel surrounded by a ton of people due to an electric atmosphere, such as in a playoff situation (which doesn't apply to this conversation for many reasons), there's really no reason to ever pick 200 level seating over the 400 level. Thanks. I sat in the UD Box last year, and they were great. I was looking into sitting somewhere else this year, but I think Ill stick with the UD Box. Really, Id like to go for seats closer to the field, but my firends are jobless bums and cant afford them :D
  2. Upper Deck Box and Terrace Box are the same price. Does anyone have an opinion of one over the other?
  3. As an aside, I went to look at the depth chart to see who would be backing up Aramis now that Fox was gone (Font and Baker), and I see that they have Colvin as the starting CF, with Fuk coming off the bench... Obviously a depth chart on Cubs.com means nothing, but interesting/funny to see nonetheless.
  4. Alright, I set up my Jobu shrine to help win this game: Framed picture of Kerry Wood (1998), surrounded by a can of Old Style, a shot of vodka in a Cubs shot glass, and a five dollar bill. Hopefully this will appease the Gods....
  5. Without looking at the numbers, I would say A-Ram, Pittsburgh
  6. Thanks guys, I knew I could count on NSBB ;) Im definitely suprised at how low his OBP was for that month, wouldve thought it to be a little higher... Just goes to show how homeruns can mask other deficinies when youre 12, as I thought he had a monster month.
  7. I have this calendar that gives a Cubs fact or trivia every day, and todays was about Sosa's June of 1998. It mentioned that his Slugging was .842, so it got me thinking what his OPS was (or other relevant SABR stats), and where this month ranks within the greatest months ever by a batter. Anyone think they can help?
  8. Money doesnt bring happiness, but...ummm...Im not quite sure how to finish that. It really does bring happiness, hopefully in the form of a Cubs win.
  9. Since this is my first time buying tickets (hooray real job!), Im not sure if I got lucky, but I only had one window open, and I got in within 15 minutes. Got 4 bleachers for my girlfriends b-day!
  10. Not if you are a Cubs fan! :D
  11. Didn't Z almost throw a no-no in Arizona a few years ago? I seem to remember that. Anyone have his career stats there? I have nothing to back this up other than my sincerest hope, but I think he'll do fine tonight. But we will need 3-4 runs to get it done. Wasn't that in 2003? i know he almost threw a no hitter against colorado in 2004. It was this game...Against Schilling http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/ARI/ARI200308220.shtml That was the game that the only hit he gave up in 8.2 innings was really an out, he possibly could have had the no-no he deserved if that call was made. I was at that game. Shea Hillenbrand should have been out and been the last out of the 8th inning. Z then got the last 3 batters out, preserving what should have been a no hitter. Check out how many pitches he threw... we could sure use some of that
  12. Thanks! Is it just audio? Or is there a way to get video?
  13. This may already be in a thread, but since the search is disabled, ill ask anyway... Could someone please give me step by step directions on how to watch the cubs on sopcast? I just moved to Michigan, and even though i get comcast chicago, they black out the games. I dont want to miss a second of the action, so please please please help me out!
  14. Havent been able to watch the game, how's my fantasy stud Z doing today?
