I don't disagree that I've received some horribly bad offers (ie: Ankiel) but I'd like to know either way if an offer that I make is even being considered...

I don't know of many managers who aren't active though. Matt stays active through Roadkill... just doesn't post here. Otherwise, I've never had a problem with anyone besides Fishbulb....

I'll admit.. I too had offers out to Fishbulb, but got no response so I eventually just revoked the offers. That being said, I was able to go down another avenue and get Oswalt from Juan...

Yeah, Young had basically become my 6th OF. I have Sizemore, Hart, Guillen, and Ordonez starting and Victorino ahead of him on the bench. Also, figured I'd be ok with Brandon Jones and Chase Headley on my minor league roster, but starting off well in the majors. Well... we both got pitchers from Juan.. haha! We'll see how they work out for us! :)

I think I was basically drunk by the time he made the offer. It was my first night w/o the girlfriend for about 2 weeks, so I started drinking early. I laughed at the offer he made you! I was actually shocked DJ gave up Young for him. I didn't figure he'd get much for Posada.

Smart Ass! :) I didn't have to give him up to get another potential #1 SP. I did give up a 2nd round pick and a great prospect, but I'm hoping that I'll have enough huge players to trade at the end of the year to re-establish my draft picks and my minor leagues. BTW.. I'll still trade Cano if anyone wants him! :)

Anyone who is interested in a 2b, I still have both Cano and K. Johnson. I'd trade Cano and one of my young pitchers (Weaver, Garza, Eveland) to upgrade my staff.

Tootielicious is finally the team I thought they could be. Now if I could only get rid of a few players (Will offer Cano + Zumaya for a pitcher, and will probably throw in a minor leaguer if anyone's interested.)

I agree that there's definitely the potential for a collapse, but who knows. This team seems different than past Cubs teams.

I didn't realize that, was there an afternoon game today? If so, I'd guess he'd have an illegal roster for tonight.

Probably cuz he made his move after lineups had to be submitted for today, and then has until tomorrow's lineup to decide what to do to make it legal again. Just a guess though.. He really probably doesn't have to drop anyone until lineups have to be submitted tomorrow. The problem here would be if he made his transaction today before lineups had to be submitted for the day. In that case, I'd guess he's illegal tonight. It doesn't look that way to me though. Looks like he'll have Morrow for tomorrow since he just picked him up today, and just has to make his lineup legal by gametime tomorrow.

Looking for a starting pitcher after my recent trade to strengthen up my bats. I'd offer Johnson + Minor Leaguer for a mid line starting pitcher or Cano + Prospects for a top tier SP. Anyone needing help at 2b, make me an offer.

Matt's pitchers had a huge day yesterday. I finally got rid of Hafner!!! Hope my pitchers have a good weekend and Morneau brings a spark to my lineup. Talk to you all next week! Off on my Caribbean cruise!

I hope not to lose for a while. I have a problem this week though, I'll be on a cruise and Matt refuses to set my pitchers for me since I'm playing him. Anyone willing to assist? I'll let you know in e-mail (or PM) after work today! Actually, I think I can take care of it since I'm not out this week until Thursday. I'm planning on benching Weaver after his start on 6/10 and putting in Floyd. Just can't decide if I'd rather start AJ vs the Cubs or Garza vs Fla.... However, I'm looking for next week, possibly needing someone to put Weaver back in my line up to get his monday start, as I'll still be out of town.

It was one of my worst weeks this week in a big game. I'm definitely disappointed. I'm still the top scoring team in the league, but my team has been outscored by my opponents. That's absolutely amazing. That is pretty nuts. You have the best team on paper (er, computer?) too. Couple guys were hurt. You will be there in the end, IMO. I agree that he's the dominant one in that division.... Our division is more of a toss up than that one is IMO.... We'll see!
