While I will disagree to some extent that the early fouls didn't change the game, it didn't change the fact that Bill Walker has been a suck ass for the last 3 or so games. Congrats on the win, we're definitely not a good team right now. I hope this means that Walker's draft status is hurting and that he'll be back next year. We could be in decent shape if he decides to come back and we get Hoskins back. We had BETTER beat CU and ISU the next two games so we don't just totally crap away our tournament chances.

Bill Walker single handedly took KSU out of this game. I've never seen someone have such a horrid game. Disappointing. This team will lose it's 4th in a row vs KU saturday and be 8-6 in the conference with games remaining vs CU and at IU. Those are a MUST win to get to the tourney. What was a promising season has gone straight down the crapper.

Well crap... The Cats in a must win game tonight in Manhattan vs UT, and we get Ed Hightower. I may as well not watch. There will be whistles blown every 35 seconds.

This team is Jeckel and Hyde. Some nights they look "elite" and others they look like clueless freshmen. I applaud Martin for benching Walker the rest of the game. These dudes need to learn that they're representing the school. Last night was also the first game of the year that I felt Martin coached poorly. I've enjoyed watching him on the sidelines this year, and i feel that he's going to end up being a pretty good coach. He hasn't made a lot bad moves all year until last nights poor defensive calls. We should have been in the zone 10 mins into the game. Oh well, it happens I guess with a team this young and inexperienced. What I wouldn't give to have Hoskins in the lineup as an actual Senior leader. It would help a ton. As it is now, you have two REALLY cocky guys in Beasley and Walker who haven't grown up yet. Losing Hoskins really hurt this team personality wise. We definitely miss the Senior leadership.

21 pt. lead at half. Lets keep it that way. I don't want to see a 2nd half like we saw in Mizzou.

Yep.. we played the worst first half and start of the 2nd half that we've played all year. I appreciated the effort to try and come back, but 22 pts was just too much to overcome.

When I say bad, please read that as an obvious double dribble and a travel with under a minute to go. And Eddie H wasn't even doing the game. :amen: Nope, we're lucky enough to get him tonight. He sucks, and it's no help that we're playing like absolute crap.

We looked horrible in the 2nd half. Oh well.. a loss is good. I think these guys are getting too big of heads after the win vs KU.

I was very lucky to be able to be at that game last night. It was by FAR the loudest I'd ever heard a college basketball game. Totally worth the price of the tickets! Hopefully we'll start the Big 12 6-0 after this coming Saturday's game at Mizzou.

Most of the game he's in the post, but occasionally he comes up high and Walker is down low. Those are the times that you see Beasley shooting the 3. Walker will be the make or break person in the game for us. I hope he has a big night. Beasley will get his, but we need Walker to contribute in a big way to have a chance.

We're looking pretty good. Hope we don't have a letdown Wednesday vs KU. Would be a nice time for our first win over them in Bramlage. I'm glad I got to come back to Kansas for this one.

Beasley scores 26 in the 2nd half and we rolled Colorado. Wasn't pretty but we could be 4-0 for next Wednesday's game vs KU. The tickets were expensive, but should make for a fun trip back to Manhattan for me.

I'm going to go home for the KSU/KU game in Manhattan.. Should be fun. They look VERY good in the first half against NU. Gonna be a fun game to go to with a lot of run and gun basketball and a WHOLE lot of great athletes.

I love our team, but we're EXTREMELY young. We have a ton of talent though. I honestly believe that with Hoskins (he won't be back this year) we'd be a top 10 team. He's the one piece we're missing. That being said, our freshmen are starting to learn how to play together. Should be a fun Big 12 season.

Big win for the Cats at OU. Beasley and Walker had great days. I look forward to going back to Manhattan for the KU game on the 30th. Good times!
