    If the Giants lose out they might not earn a 1st round bye. The only other team that can get to 11 wins is the Vikings and it's now even looking good for #10 right now against Atlanta. OK that's what I thought. Anyway, it seems like all the wild card teams except for ATL lost today. I'm thinking this was a good day for the Bears. Of course, they gotta beat up the damn Packers tomorrow night. How cold will it be for the game? Looks like 5/-8 around kickoff improving to 8/-3 by the end of the game. The wind chill won't be nearly as bad as it is today.

    That has to be reviewed. A clear replay angle on a goal line call. How about that.

    I can't imagine the Packers are going to be super pumped to play in what will likely be -15 to -25 degree wind chills throughout the game. If the Bears are eliminated beforehand, I can't imagine they'll be, either.

    Tyrell Sutton had the pins in his wrist removed and he returned to practice today. He'll be wearing a brace, but he's going to play. That not only gives us a chance at having an effective running game, but it also improves our passing game with his great receiving skills and pass blocking, as well. Add to that the fact that Vince Browne, the other questionable player for the bowl, returned to practice today and Bacher should have his finger and leg injuries all healed up, I'm excited.

    It'll likely be dry, but quite cold.

    With South Carolina going, the Outback Bowl was going to sell out regardless. They selected Iowa because they wanted to be overly safe in this economy.

    They punt it out of bounds at midfield, not giving Hester a chance to mess that up, and the fans are booing? Really?

    I saw someone wearing an Idonije jersey yesterday. Made me happy.

    Not much wind, but the wind chill is around 5.

    My goodness that field is in bad shape. It looks like a thick layer of easily removable moss on top of solid dirt.
