There's conclusive evidence that he had control, though? I think him losing control of the ball before his arm hit the ground places enough doubt about him having possession to not overturn that call. There wasn't anything indisputable about those replays.

Because he lost control of the ball before his elbow hit the ground (meaning the ground didn't jar it loose), that suggests he didn't have control of it. He already had two feet and at least one knee down by that point! That was an abomination of officiating. Right, but if the ground didn't cause him to lose control of the ball, how can you be sure he had control of the ball and overturn it?

LOL, yeah he really restrained himself by jacking the Washington player in the helmet. I he really only half-slapped him and I think if someone spit in my face in the middle of a football playoff game, I would kick his ass. yea, I'd say that was restrained. He more missed. Plus, the official was right there to push them apart as he was swinging. There wasn't much more he could do, but I don't think that's really restraining himself.

Wow. The 'Cats take it to Minnesota on the road and start 2-0 for the first time since '82. A win over Penn State at home on Wednesday would give them a 3-0 start. Bad finishes to both halves, but Craig Moore's shooting is really coming around. If Cote could start hitting some, that would help a ton. Hachad should be back Wednesday, too. Oh, and Michigan BARELY beats Purdue. Purdue had plenty of chances to tie it up late on the road but couldn't do it.

Free games online this weekend on ESPN Full Court. It'll be nice to actually be able to watch a Northwestern game.

I believe 30 was the maximum number reached in the deal a couple of years ago, so until a new deal is reached, it'll stay at 30 starting in 2007.

Except for Dennis Anderson, who was in the Florida system for 7 seasons. He'll be 28 and never made it beyond AA by the looks of it.

He's done, according to Cubs.com. Not quite the performance most were hoping for. Then again, at least he'll be starting the season in the minors.
