It's actually pretty simple. Those who vote in the polls should rank teams based on how good they are, not who should play in what bowl. If people truly felt that Michigan is the second best team in the country, then they deserve to play for the championship. Voting should ONLY be based on which team is the best. Nothing else. Not that I'll complain about Michigan not getting the invite. Now I can root for Florida before they get destroyed by Ohio State.
