  1. One more time...Rex has barely thrown the ball at all today. And his QB rating is above 0.
  2. I agree with Goose. smart play. flukish that Johnson picked it up. don't challenge this Lovie No, you have to just grab the QB and pull him back, especially when it's 2 on 1 for that ball. The first guy just has to make sure the other player doesn't get to the ball. Tommie Harris out for the rest of the game with a "left leg injury."
  3. Thanks, refs. You really effed that one up. And now Tommie Harris is being carted off the field.
  4. DAMNIT. Don't throw him onto the ball, Urlacher!! Incomplete? What? HE THREW IT BACKWARDS YOU IDIOTS!!
  5. But he did throw a pick in the red zone, which IMO is worse than throwing it in your own territory. You'd rather give the opposition a full set of downs to try to put up 7 than lose a chance to likely only put up 3? Honestly, I was thinking about this before I posted, and I'm not sure, especially with our defense. I'd rather keep points off the board against the defense and let them try to give the offense good field position, personally.

  7. Let's not forget that Grossman only has 9 pass attempts and hasn't turned it over in Bears territory. And how many of those were just to get rid of the ball? While he clearly made the wrong read on the Napoleon Harris interception. It's not like he has been holding this offense back today.
  8. didn't you see Goose's wind demonstration? I don't get Fox. And if the wind is so bad, dont bother trying, just let the other team down it, especially when its at the Min 42... You do realize we scored our touchdown on a punt return earlier, right? Hester did. He caught the ball. Thats great, but from what I understand it could have ended up completely different. If the ball is moving sideways and you might not be able to catch it, don't try. Its a punt by punt thing. He got it off a bounce, actually. Yeesh. No time. So he was patient and didnt try to catch it, but it bounced right and he could take the shot? He wasn't able to run up to it in time, I believe. Plus it was kinda low. But since nobody was in the immediate area, there wasn't much of a risk in picking it up.

  10. That happens, I guess. It's hard to completely fault Wesley there since it was such a terrible kick. Yeesh.
  11. Really? Him getting stepped on, and throwing the ball away when no one was open? I'm not sure that I see those as problems with Rex. He has 15 yards and 2 INTs. You don't think that's a problem? Then it was him getting stepped on?
  12. What? Nobody was open. What was he supposed to do?
  13. More runs for Benson, please.
  14. Thayer had it right. Bad calls like that are an embarrassment to the game.
  15. grossman has more than one option. he should know that if he's throwing downfield in this weather, berrian had better be pretty open. he wasn't. Berrian one on one against a bad defensive back isn't a terrible read. Bernard did a horrible job on that play by not coming back for it at all. But that was the primary read on the play and that's what he threw. There just isn't a reason to call that play in the first place.
  16. These refs are taking a page out of the UCLA/USC officiating.
