    Why is Grossman getting most of the blame on that? Turner's the one who thinks it's a good idea to chuck it deep with a windchill below 5 and a 15 mph wind. The read by Rex wasn't bad. It was one on one for Berrian. But you just cannot call that play.

    once the vikings touch it he cannot fumble until after he picks it up The ball was already coming to a stop with a Viking right on it. There was nothing good that could come from getting involved in the play. You've got to do a better job than that, Berrian. But another stupid play call. What the heck is Turner doing.

    That's not a bad read by Rex, though. He just overthrew him by about a step. A deep pass to Moose on 3rd and 2 in that situation is not the play call I want to see. Some decent pressure so far. I see what you're saying, in that it would have been better to pick up the 3rd and short, but if Moose doesn't stumble, or Rex sees the stumble and adjusts, it's a TD pass. It's hard to fault that read. Nice pressure and pick!! It wasn't that bad of a pass, but why call that play in that situation, especially when Rex is wearing glovs and it's too cold to get a good feel of the ball?

    The only thing that matters is the Vikings. I doubt what the media says is going to impact the Bears' performance all that much. You don't think the media ragging all week might have caused just that little bit of lost focus by Rashied? I do. This is trouble. It's the media trying to be self-important. They say things and then they talk about how them saying things is affecting the team. It's pretty meaningless.

    Jesus. Make that an outdoor game after November since 1999. They have beaten the Lions in Detroit a couple of times recently in December.
