  1. "Something got lost in translation." That's hilarious.
  2. All I got was a smoke bomb in the back. Had to pick it up and toss it onto the field to get rid of it. Kinda hot.
  3. Can she lose votes after the fact for knowing who Hannah Montana is and having watched the show? Sad...
  4. Just finished watching the second half on TIVO and Ching and Beasley's misses in the second half still infuriate me. Mostly Beasley's. But Howard's save...awesome. I didn't really appreciate it until I saw it on the big screen.
  5. Yeah. I don't think I've ever experienced a sequence of up and downs live like I did today. Just an incredibly exciting game. And yeah, I'm definitely hooked now. By the way, here's the view from my seat: http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u310/nucubs/Image022.jpg I wish I had brought a camera instead of just my phone which was full of pics by the trophy presentation. They brought the trophy right in front of us (that thing is freakin' huge).
  6. That was absolutely crazy. Not bad for my first live match. The seats were amazing, especially since I was right behind the goal that had all the goal scored in.. The only downside to them was that they were aisle seats and I was getting crowded by Mexico fans after the first half who wanted to shout things to the big breasted Blonde Mexican celebrity. I'd say it was maybe around 90% Mexico supporters. It took me about 45 minutes of watching crowds in traffic and then walking to Soldier Field to actually see a US jersey. They weren't all that bad, though the stadium was certainly shaking after the goal. And then one of them dumped beer on Seth's friend right before the trophy presentation. Talk about an up and down game. Quite an experience.
  7. Time to head to Soldier Field and enjoy my first row seats.
  8. It should be pretty nice out this afternoon. Partly cloudy, but temps only in the upper 70s.
  9. I'd have switched my vote, too.
  10. Rough debut for Suarez. And Raisin, from now on, spell out Nelson Perez's name. Don't abbreviate it like that... You could just refer to him as The Nelson.
  11. Sounds to me like there needs to be a Raisin vs. Slugger post-tournament exhibition poll.
  12. Her best idea yet.
  13. This shouldn't have been a referendum on boobs. Heck, I could grow some if I really wanted. That'd be easier than growing pecs, probably. When I voted this morning it was 46-46. Glad I added an insurance vote.
  14. If someone gave her a glass of Manischewitz, this thing would be over by now.
  15. Looking at value is pretty simple: Offense = Hitting + Base Running Defense = Pitching + Fielding Hitting >>> Base Running Pitching >>> Fielding Offense = 1/2 Baseball Defense = 1/2 Baseball Offense = Defense Baseball = Offense + Defense
  16. It was the best time she ever had in the bathroom.
  17. I don't see what's so appealing about a woman who swears like a sailor while driving, finds it funny if she calls up people just to try to burp in a voice message, enjoys vague sexual innuendo, and likes to nap all day. And that's just what she's like while babysitting.
  18. USA vs. Mexico it is! And it looks like the game is sold out. I can't wait.
  19. Scoreless at the half in the Mexico game.
  20. WOW How was that offsides? HUGE gift. Wow.... Now do your part, Mexico. I can't wait for Sunday!
  21. HOLY CRAP
  22. You can't be that stupid, Bradley...
  23. So what did I miss? Just came in to see Canada make it 2-1.

  25. The Fire finally let Sarachan go, right before their match against Cracovia this Friday. What a miserable season this has been so far. If anyone is still interested in buying Gold Cup tickets, it might be worth trying the Fire box office at 888-MLS-FIRE. They may have better seats reserved than what's on Ticketmaster. I'm going to have to miss most of the game tomorrow evening. Hopefully it goes well...
