    The I-Cubs go on their All Star break Tuesday through Thursday, so Hill could pitch for them as early as Friday.

    What's FC? What makes it especially nasty, is that they all start on pretty much the same path from both the side and the top, making it harder for the batter to recognize what is coming. It's a cut fastball. The data that they pulled on CubsFX.com wasn't complete, as I think there were 15 or so pitches missing, but he threw it just over 20 times. He actually fell behind left handed batters quite frequently, but they still didn't have much success against Z.

    Ugh. I wonder if they'll have him throw a longer simulated game and keep to their schedule by moving him up.

    So you'll be able to watch the Orange kick your Wildcats butts all over the field now? There are three things wrong with that statement. Two of them are the fact that I have season tickets and that I've had the BTN since last year thanks to DirecTV. I'll let you figure out what the third one is. What's going on with that team, anyways? Didn't they just have another starter suspended for academics?

    Yeah, how dare he expect Marmol to throw 35 pitches in the last week! His arm is going to fall off throwing so many pitches!!! Don't you want Marmol to be able to pitch tomorrow in case it's actually close? What's the benefit of having him pitch tonight?

    Gameday has his sliders ranging from 81-88 mph in his last outing. It's certainly possible those could be mislabeled. That last one broke a heck of a lot more than the average changeup. I wonder just how much horizontal break it gets, though. Thanks for the link, Rammy.
