  1. Was that also a game he posed for a picture after he caught the last out in left field?
  2. Sounded fairly tame on the radio. But the team has been playing horribly, they are losing early in game 1 of a homestand against a team that embarrassed them in the playoffs. They wasted a leadoff hit, and a completely frozen stiff Soriano made another out. I think there was a lot too boo about if somebody was prone to the booing. Take the worst 20 game stretch for any player and most would have a BA of under .200.
  3. Because we own? Because you guys are on the verge of winning your 2nd world series in 10 years of existence while we can't win one in 100 years. Chill, man. It's May. Nobody is on the verge of winning anything.
  4. Yeah, Fontenot shouldn't be happy about being the brunt of that routine.
  5. Well, this is a Baseball Discussions thread and the White Sox is a baseball team. I'd say this is the right place for this thread.
  6. not that surprising considering that his LD% is 44.1%. i didn't even know that was possible. Scary, because if that's what he's capable of, he is getting REAL unlucky in his flyballs and groundballs.
  7. Of course not. These are the Cards we're talking about.
  8. I am eagerly awaiting the day when he hits the first baseman on the head intending to throw a runner out at third in a playoff game.
  9. I wouldn't be concerned with the number of balls pitchers throw. They use it as a weapon to throw hitters off balance. My guess is that Zambrano has gotten a lot of hitters out on one or two pitches so that his overall pitch count is low, and hence balls take up a greater percentage of them.
  10. Do you live in Chicago? White Sox fans are vicious. I heard about Mark's no-hitter last year for a couple of weeks. ok? Either way, Gavin Floyd will not amount to much. And he coulda thrown a perfect game, and it still wouldn't have been the best performance on May 6th in this generation. It's kinda hard not to root for ANY pitcher that has a no-hitter going in the 9th. So, pitch away Gavin. Good luck.
  11. I would put the game against Colorado on the SHOULD HAVE LOST list. Let's not forget Ramirez's 2-run homer in the ninth that gave the Cubs the lead.
  12. Don't you dare tempt me to post pictures of Ezequiel Astacio. Weird .. as soon as he mentioned Harang, I thought of Astacio as well.
  13. Quite possibly the saddest website on the internet. LOL at Babe Ludwick slugging higher than Albert Pujols right now.
  14. Anybody got the unedited audio?
  15. I hope Wood strikes out the side and gets the save today.
  16. Overload of LSU density at home plate that time. You know nothing good was going to come of it.
  17. Cubs and Sox both down in the ninth and both have the bases loaded on a walk with 1 out. Creepy.
  18. Soriano game tying homer ... I can feel it!
  19. When you're pitching the last player in the majors from the Florida Marlins inaugural season, you know you're in trouble.
  20. When you're pitching someone who's a 23rd round pick in 1992, you know you're in trouble.
  21. If it weren't for umps, baseball would be the perfect sport.
