I like this lineup we rolled out on 7/7/2005 against the Braves: Hairston CF Perez 2B Ramirez 3B Dubois LF Burnitz RF Walker 1B Cedeno SS Blanco C Prior P How did we do? We lost 6-0 on a 3 hit, 100 pitch, CG shutout by Horacio Ramirez. Fun times.

It's what happens when you lead the league in OBP. Get used to it. Yep, 9 (or hopefully 8) outs are going to be made by the Cubs to end innings. That will happen EVERY ballgame. Teams with high OBP will have runners on the bases when those outs are made.

Interesting. How do the Cubs get their 7 runs taken away? One run gets taken away for every half-shirt and thing of eyeliner he brings to the ballpark. So Cubs lose -8 to 1?

Do you have faith in the cubs to do that? I think they give Edmonds every chance to succeed. In other words, much more than 10 ballgames. Well, Iowa is in a tight division race right now.
