  1. Those are run expectancy numbers, which, unfortunately, does not really play a factor in the bunt/no bunt debate.
  2. Not a big difference, but it proves your point. Bunting lessons the chances of scoring a run. The difference in those numbers can be explained by randomness. It could very well by 1% the other way if the ball had took a few different bounces throughout the years.
  3. So when does McGehee get DFA'ed?
  4. What's the scouting report of McGahee?
  5. I'd much rather prefer GSLee.
  6. LaTroy Hawkins says hi. Thanks for the drink through the nose.....So true. Todd Hundley would like to say hello as well. When my friends and I played MLB '02, Todd Hundley took one in the earhole every at bat, regardless of the score or how many were on base. What's this fascination with Todd Hundley? I wasn't a Cubs fan back then.
  7. Oh great, looks like 1st half Craft is back.
  8. If you want to ensure a chance to give up a FG in ~35 seconds squib kick and play prevent. Then why is it called the prevent D?
  9. Looks like you're the only negative nancy in this thread.
  10. He's a Cubs fan singing the 7th inning stretch, what's not to like?
  11. If my aunt had balls, she's be my uncle.
  12. Jon Miller just asked who should be the NL MVP and said it should be someone from the Cubs but no one in the Cubs lineup really stands out since the production is spread out up and down the lineup.
  13. Double plays are more the result of the skill of the pitcher rather than the skill of the middle infielders.
  14. D. Lee and Jimmy carpooling? I wish to see this sitcom. That's a very weird thing to write. I've never heard the end of the regular season being referred to its "last dying embers".
  15. I'm glad I don't live in your neighborhood. Says the guy who lives in St. Louis.
  16. At least I still have Michigan football.
  17. Well, at least we're hitting Myers pretty hard.
