  1. Locker ran it in but he got called for an absolutely BOGUS unsportsmanlike conduct. It pushed the PAT out to the 18 or whatever and it got blocked. Just an inexcusable call that cost them a chance at the game. It's not like the Washington kicker missed the PAT. It got BLOCKED. How does the field position matter in a blocked kick? Angles on the kick change. The further out, the lower the kick needs to be for proper distance. But I really don't know physics that well, so I could be wrong. From watching the angle on TV, it looked like there was massive penetration by BYU. If that play took place on the 3 yard line, I think they still get the block.

  3. I thought this thread would be about criticisms of Piniella and Sinatro.
  4. Why am I getting Bears news on CSN+ now?
  5. LOL, you really think Arroyo's gonna throw a no-hitter. At the risk of offending the baseball gods, let me just say NO FREAKING WAY!!
  6. That should be grounds for losing your sports radio job. No exceptions.
  7. Or not. What Valverde does is no different than what Zambrano does. Zero percent different. Actually, as Mojo stated, what Valverde does is actually more appropriate than what Z does. Valverde does it after the game is over when his team wins, Z does it in the middle of games when he gets out of a rough inning. I think its completely fine after a game and pretty tacky to do during a game. Valverde does it after he gets the first out as well.
  8. Dolphins don't play during the summer
  9. Well, at least it's fair.
  10. wow, that was a nasty pitch from Samardija.
  11. I'm guessing a 2 out double from Pence.
  12. For a playoff spot, only when the Phillies lose.
  13. 7IP, 3ER from Dempster is not bad. Too bad the offense is anemic tonight.
  14. Yeah, that's the main reason Carl Mays isn't in the HOF.
  15. When he gets on base, we have more shots of him in his perpetual deer-in-the-headlights look.
  16. You got pics? Was it worse than the Marlins/Nationals game last year? This was the Marlins/Nationals game last year: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2007/writers/gennaro_filice/09/14/fiveup.fivedown/t1_dolphinstadium.jpg
  17. Who paid for Yankee Stadium? Private money or tax dollars?
  18. Nothing good can come from seeing someone named Dr. Griswald.
  19. I hate Valverde because of his antics, but I literally can't stand it when he constantly gets saves against the Cubs.
  20. Ward, pretend this guy is Kevin Gregg.
  21. We are talking about Geoff Blum here, right? The same guy who is batting .239 on the season with a .715 OPS? The key words were right now. Blum gets big hits, Lee, not so much. Lets get 3 and win this now. Oh great, the "clutchiness" discussion again.
  22. You forgot to factor the probability of a successful sac bunt. Say that's 95%. Then the win probability when you decide to bunt (but haven't yet executed) is .95*.70.
