  1. New stadium, perhaps closer to downtown? 25
  2. No, what do you mean?
  3. He hasn't, but most people figure he will, because he totally stinks as a pitcher, and has the potential to be a 30 hr/middle of the order caliber hitter. But then again, Dusty and the Reds wukk try and keep him as a pitcher, even tho his potential is higher as a hitter. Seriously? Owings really has middle of the order potential? I had no idea. Yes he does....He can really hit.......Have him focus on being a hitter full-time, and the Reds have their future #5 hitter in Owings. Yeah, but where would he play?
  4. Eric Karros? pretty sure there was a regular dude who did a documentary following the team that entire year. white kid, black hair. can't remember much else. Wasn't he the guy who ran onto the field a while back to attack a player? Ah, here we go: Chasing October. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0997045/
  5. Not the same. They were filming a movie (not a documentary), and when they had already wrapped, the Sox won. So they had decided to re-film the ending. I would hope Boston would forget the movie Fever Pitch ever happened.
  6. What did Burrell do? It doesn't matter, but he hit a go ahead single Even if Shouse got Burrell to GIDP, it would still have been an incredibly dumb decision. You just don't play that matchup period.
  7. You are a scholar and a gentleman.
  8. I seriously think that gun is hot. It had Z at 99 yesterday.
  9. An amazing performance. He could have completed the no-no with just six fielders. There were only two fly balls all night, both to Derosa in right. I don't think Ramirez got a single assist either. The only well hit ball was the liner to Derosa in the 6th or 7th. Z really helped himself out as well. That play on the dribbler in front of the plate early in the game was very nice and had no margin for error. He also gave a clinic on covering first base. Hopefully CC's watching and learning.
  10. I wonder if Brewer fans realize this actually helpstheir playoff chances.
  11. I was on the verge of going, but I'm pretty much blocked in when Des Plaines flooded!!
  12. LOL, so ESPN will cut away from a White Sox game to go to a Cubs game? I love this ... this day has probably annoyed the Cubs haters more than any other day in history.
  13. I wonder if the Cubs hit a home run Ronnie Woo Woo will go down the slide.
  14. I think the Astros are wearing their road unis to silently protest.
  15. Down with ESPN and down with Bud Selig. So the MIL/PHI game 2 is blacked out and the Cubs game is blacked out for me and I am NOT happy. Not that I would advocate as much, but you can proxy around the system and say watch the game through Great Britain... just waiting for the start. Good luck finding a free proxy server. http://www.proxy-server.info/proxy-server-list.shtml We both know that most of those will not work.

  17. Think if I drive up to Milwaukee tomorrow I can get tickets at the door?
  18. Isn't there a new rule in college football? It's no longer "a football move." Now you have to take two steps for the catch to be complete. Or is that just the NFL?
  19. Strangely, I love Fukudome's go-ahead single after a great AB in the 9th against Saito.
  20. Let's just say I don't want to be in the lower decks when the Brewers clinch.
  21. I guess the Sox could really use him now.
  22. I was swimming most of the game, but I was in my car for the last part. Immediately when I turned the radio on, Lee grounded out to end the 8th. Then, Kerry came on and gave up a double, and Lee threw to third after a bunt. After Pat said that he was safe at third, I was about to go crazy, but then all of a sudden he yelled, "HE'S OUT! HE'S OUT! HE OVERSLID THE BAG!!" That was a great moment, but it was immediately followed up by a single. That was when I turned my radio off cause I couldn't take it anymore. When I turned it back on, the postgame was on and you can usually tell the result by Pat's voice. He didn't sound down, so I knew they won! Weird that bad things started happening from the moment I turned on the radio....
  23. "2006" and "fun" should never be used in the same sentence.
  24. Alright, Lee. End this thing so we can get through 5 innings and make this game official.
  25. Is it too much to get Harden to lay down a bunt???? LOL, Pujols cost Wellemeyer a K.
