In fairness to Nick Swisher, that check swing strike 3 call was absurdly bad. I can't argue that, but I found it comical that Hawk thinks the White Sox should get the best umpires because their game is more important than everyone else's. Well, at least for today, the Sox/Twins game is the most important game. He does bring up a good point though ... maybe MLB should switch around umpiring crews at the end of the season so meaningful games get the best umps.

I know this loss doesn't mean anything, but it would have been sweet to pay back the Mets for 2004 with Micah Hoffpauir. Also, we don't have a chance at 100 wins now. :( Man, this is probably the worst I've felt over a meaningless loss.
