    Cosign. I disagree with the poster who suggested the new stadium be built in the suburbs. Wrigleyville is as big a part of going to a Cubs game as Wrigley. No need to do away with that as well. Raze Wrigley and rebuild on the same spot. Cubs can play at Soldiers Field for a year or two. Ouch! Your post sends a shiver down my spine. Demolishing Wrigley Field is an absolute no-no, IMO. If the Cubs get a new stadium, it will have to be somewhere else. It would be a shame though, since Wrigleyville *might* go south if it happens (although Wrigleyville is still pretty popular during the colder months), but you can have a new Wrigleyville wherever the new stadium happens to be. Just don't sell the naming rights so it's something stupid like Sears Park.

    I know. I hate that. They don't need a built in weather day since they are playing in a dome. Huh? What makes the day after the opening day guaranteed bad weather?

    Call me a hopeless romantic, but I just want one World Series championship with the Cubs playing at Wrigley. I don't want to see highlight reels or pictures of a Cubs championship season and not be able to see the Cubs playing at Wrigley Field. Give me that, and I couldn't care less if the Cubs built another stadium.

    Snyder's time was all when Trent Johnson was coaching there, I'm pretty sure. Oh, I thought that Snyder was there for first year of Fox. I could be wrong though. Yeah, so was Fazekas. I believe Fazekas's freshman year was when they made the Sweet 16 under Trent Johnson. But Mark Fox was the assistant at the time, so I guess he must have played some role in their recruitment.

    His physical superiority combined with star-friendlier rules. Gotcha. I remain skeptical. He's been playing with those rules to date, and he hasn't out produced Jordan yet. Well, he will have his chance this year to break Jordan's record for highest PER in a season.

    ????????????????????????????????? I know it's a pre-season game: but it seams a bit out of the way. Why didn't they just put another east coast team there? I'm guessing because they wanted a premier team and a matchup with the Mets wouldn't work because they're doing a dress rehearsal with their stadium. What about the Red Sox?
