  1. Ryan Franklin almost had a 9 pitch, 9 strike, 3K feat.
  2. I have a feeling Miles will get on. He wants to show his old team that they should have resigned him.
  3. He's actually a pretty good offensive player.
  4. What was the Celtics record without Garnett?
  5. For some reason, 7 seeds have a really good track record against 2 seeds. Also, no DWIGHT HOWARD! Go sic 'em, Bulls!
  6. Look on the bright side, at least we're not facing Dwight Howard.
  7. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Daniel Gibson 3 to tie it with .6 sec left. NEW LIFE!
  8. Cleveland down 1 with the ball, 19 sec. left. Can't the Cavs just put in LeBron for 1 play?
  9. Sixers/Cavs tied now....c'mon Cleveland!
  10. So we went from 2 on and nobody out to somehow leaving no men on base while not scoring?
  11. We got three players who are in the minors for Mark DeRosa ... we didn't exactly sell high.
  12. In over 200 more Ab's it wouldnt have been very hard for Theriots OBP to drop down those 50 points. Kind of skewing it saying it was much much better. Also considering the age Cedeno was when he reached the majors for a large majority of those sporadic at bats. Theriot would need to get on base ~30 times or less in the next 236 PAs order to reach .288 OBP of Cedeno. In short, it would be very very hard for Theriot's OBP to drop 50 points by the time he has 996 PAs.
  13. We've led the league since 2001. That stat implies it's an organizational philosophy to bring in strikeout pitchers.
  14. He struck out 8... Wow, 8 of the 9 outs came on the strikeout, with the 9th being a runner thrown out at 3rd. And he's down 4-0. Unluckiest BABIP ever?
  15. Good luck to Paulus. He was rated even higher as a high school QB than as a point guard, if you can believe that. Notre Dame was going after him hard.
  16. Not too concerned, since the people ahead of him get on base a lot, he should have a lot of dudes on base when he bats.
  17. Ramirez is not in the lineup today. Fontenot at 3rd again.
  18. I didn't realize this, but the Cubs are 2nd in MLB in walks, with 38. The Dodgers are first, with 40, but they've played 1 more game. The Cubs are hitting a paltry .263 as a team, but are near the top in OBP due to those walks.
  19. You realize you don't get any of that 20M?
  20. What's amazing is that Bonds OPS'ed almost 100 points higher than this for an entire season.
  21. Apparently Isiah Thomas is the new coach at FIU. That came completely out of left field.
  22. Oh god, do I hate Robert Fick: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2003/news/story?id=1631185
  23. Wait, Nick Swisher pitched today?
  24. No Chicago sports team has lost since Friday.
  25. Would it actually be a bad thing if the Bulls lost? Everybody on radio says that the Bulls should play the Celtics rather than the Magic.
