    The sick part is that he was not slated to start the game. Uribe's wife is pregnant and he had to leave because whe was giving birth. So it was an emergency start for Cintron.

    The Cubs are helpless against Wandy Rodriguez.

    If you are a left with an ERA above 4 you will dominate the CUbs. Wandy was at 4.8 before this game. If I was the opposing team, I would just pitch all lefties against the Cubs. Bring them up from the minors if you have to or go drag them off the closest little league field if necessary.

    Why didnt Murton go to second? He knows if he got tagged or not more than anyone. Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Is it impolite for rookies to argue or something, or did he honestly think that he was tagged? It looked so obvious. He probably heard the ump already make the call.

    No tag with the glove beyond that Biggio try to tag him with the glove even though he already made the transfer of the ball from glove to hand. Bad call.
