  1. What about the towel drill?
  2. "This Old Cub" is only showing on the superstation WGN not WGN Chicago. So most of the country wouldn't be able to see the Cubs game unless they have the Extra Innings package.
  3. I'm the third person who went with Schmidt. Not sure who was second.
  4. I recall this taking place. http://www.powermaxconsulting.com/Harry%20-%20Marla%20Collins.mp3
  5. If you're serious, you can make one yourself. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=163547&pfp=BROWSE
  6. I read the Trib online everyday, and the "Red Eye" when someone leaves one laying on a seat on the 'L'. Believe me, they're paying for a lot of crap that gets published every day. The Red Eye, IMO, might be the most overpriced free paper in the world. The Red Eye is useful to find out the drink specials that are advertised throughout the entire paper. It's a glorified student newspaper.
  7. I don't know if it is possible but maybe try to work out a deal with one of the rooftop owners and place a video screen a top one of the building. The building with the Torco(now Miller) sign would work. They could even include the Miller signage asuming that is what they want down the road.
  8. If you don't mind getting one online, the Majestic website customizes t shirts. http://store.majesticathletic.com/ItemList--search-customized-t-shirt.html
  9. Sounds spectacular. Why have the real thing when it can just be shown throught the use of graphics? Sounds more like something you would find at a Disney EPCOT center show.
  10. Well, that is what the title says anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09kuy1fCpSs&search=%22Cardinals%22 Why would anyone feel the need to do this and upload it for people to see?
  11. I think his success this year says a lot about his willingness to learn. I only wish that Corey really was stubborn last year and could have blocked out everything Clines and company were telling him about changing his swing instead of focusing on strike zone recognition. In terms of Corey's willingness to learn, didn't he refuse to go to winter ball and the Cubs urged him to then he said he would go at the midpoint of winter ball. But, when the midpoint came he refused again saying he wanted to get away from the game for a while. Was this a true story or blown out of proportion?
  12. In other news, top of the fouth and it is 4-3...Cardinals beating the Brewers.
  13. Why would Freel look at Aardsma? I don't think he wanted to put the tying run on base.
  14. Not Worthless.....it promotes a NY player.
  15. That just bought Neifi a lot more starts.
  16. It's amazing. He almost threw a no hitter against the Cubs when he played for the Phillies. He held them practically hitless his last against the Cubs and now he is on that track today. I don't even think he flirted with a no hitter against another team. Len and Bob said over the last 4 games he has only given up 3 runs. I did see his last outing against the Cards and he did look good. Not no hitter worthy but very good indeed. No it's not necesarily all Cubs, but he is in a good groove over the past few weeks but ever since his almost no hitter against the Cubs...well I just So it's not ALL because the Cubs suck. But it is partly to blame. No HITTER broken by big Murt!! Well, like you said the Cubs defintely help him out. Now at this point it feels like an aborration(with the Cub hits).
