I'm personally glad we didn't get him... Derosa at 2B, use those prospects we saved by not trading Roberts to make a run at a #2 starter a month and a half from now. (if not sooner) -

'88 Topps, if I recall :) I think the Hawk led the league with 16 GWRBI and I thought it was cool. . . . . I was 10 years old. I don't care how pointless of a stat it is, its still frickin cool if the Hawk is involved.

Maybe a guffaw..but they both played for the minor league team i worked for last summer so its pretty cool seeing them make it to the big leagues!

While im at work and can't access gameday, i also have free text messages sent to my phone with updates with score changes and how the runs were scored. Its pretty helpful when your busy at work. -
Right after the "fight". Z was starting his season over, as he said, and the high socks were part of his transformation apparently. At least thats how i recall it.

Let BB walk. Javon Walker is about to be released, and there are several decent options at receiver that we can bring in, along with a drafted wideout, that will strengthen our receiving core compared to last season.

I don't know if every indication is showing them cutting Griese. I think they will, but JA has come out and stated that he and the coaches have had discussions of carrying 4 quarterbacks on the 53 man roster next season.

olsen should be playing more of the slot next year. It's pretty safe to say Olsen will see a lot of time in the slot next season. His athleticism and speed needs to be taken advantage of.

I'd really like the Bears to go after Javon Walker. Apparently he is going to be traded by the Broncos or cut before March 4th, and if his knee is healthy he'd look great in a Bears uniform.

If they stay healthy, and draft smart, I still expect this team to compete for a wild card spot in the NFC next season. Those, however, are two big ifs.

I mean if you think about it, wouldn't you rather have Fukudome hitting in front of Lee and Ramirez? That is definitely an issue in my mind.

Also, like we figured would happen, Jordan Gross was franchised by the Panthers. FA options are dwindling by the day. Our first pick almost HAS to be an OT.
