  1. haha, within the last year or so, my fiance decided to google "earth2sean", and nsbblol was what she found. hilarious
  2. haha, gernmany
  3. lol
  4. it really doesn't
  5. what a horrible argument. toews played 22 fewer games, 27% of the season, than hossa. So the best player on a team is the best player that manages to stay healthy for more than 70% of the season? Luol Deng was the best player on the Bulls last year right? you clearly missed the point about the games played thing, but what kind of deranged and out-of-control idiocy is required to even suggest that luol deng was the best player on the bulls? booz and jo were the best players on the bulls by a mile, and i think you could make the case for either one. but anyway, sorry for not paying my respects to the church of jonathan toews. i always forget to preface my statements with "jonathan toews is single most valuable player over time of all current chicago blackhawks, but," last year hossa directly contributed to the blackhawks winning their hockey games more than any other player on the roster. therefore, he was the best player on the team.
  6. i wonder what the world will be like when hossa's contract is done
  7. because of length? sharp's cap hit is higher, but also has more value in a trade than hossa b/c of the length.
  8. what a horrible argument. toews played 22 fewer games, 27% of the season, than hossa.
  9. amnesty hossa? holy christ, what is wrong with you people? yes yes, age, concussion, blah blah blah, but marian hossa was THE BEST player on our team last year. without him, the hawks don't make the playoffs. clearly, the solution to affording either or both of those dudes is something other than getting rid of your best player wtf guys
  10. yeah, brainfarted the exemptions. being over the tax doesn't affect that though, since teams need to be able to fill out a roster
  11. can't turn over a lineup lol
  12. afaik, you can't sign a free agent to take you over the cap, but you can re-sign your own players to whatever cap hit you so desire, understanding that the more and longer you do, the more expensive it becomes. it seems as if i'm alone on this board when it comes to re-signing asik. yes yes, it's a risk to assume that his ELITE defensive skill set won't be diluted by increased minutes and that he might never develop the offensive skills to be worth that third year. however, asik at 5 mil or whatever is a pretty sweet deal and it's clear he has value that, barring injury, will continue to rise as he develops as a player. if we can't stomach the third year or need the room to go out and get someone, then you make a move. someone will want him. this still seems like kind of a no-brainer to me.
  13. GET IT DONE, STANLEY i hope parise goes home to his family right as dinner is about to be served and walks in to discover stan bowman at the dinner table just as he finishes a story that leads to uproarious laughter all around the table and gramma parise saying that it's her happiest moment since grampa died
  14. disturbing, weird, and kind of hilarious
  15. my eyes find her agreeable. my attention to detail finds her giant hands horrifying
  16. [expletive] kyle of course you'd have an episode regarding something somebody maybe legitimately worried about a year ago citing the comments, no less. THE COMMENTS!
  17. He's not a 2-way player and never will be. He doesn't play defense at all and of course his scoring has dropped for 2 years. Not saying they should dump him, but see if someone will overvalue him and we could get some players. and who exactly will overvalue kane when the organization basically outed him as unresponsive towards their concerns about his public drunkenness, on top of the perception that his priorities are out of whack, etc.? if it's so obvious to you that he'll never be a 2-way player and his offensive production is a concern, wouldn't you think that would be the case for all the GM's in the league?
  18. i thought the coup de gras was when cuban asks bayless why a team would use a zone defense and bayless has no substantive response
  19. http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2012/6/21/3109494/dan-gilbert-cleveland-cavaliers-lebron-james-miami-heat Holy crap, dude has lost it. "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS HIS SECOND" Yeah ok. Maybe if you didn't get him Antwan Jamison, Delonte West, Larry Hughes and Mo Williams he would of stayed. umm
