I'd rather get down with it being close with Milwaukee than with The Cardinals. That pixie dust scares the crud out of me

When was the last time the Cardinals even lost a series? Good lord I wish I could just stand in front of their stadium and yell "GO AWAY GO AWAY!!! FOR GODS SAKE GO AWAY"

I have no shame in saying I sort of root for an injury to get Marquis out of the rotation. I don't know about a tear or something like that, maybe something minor that gets him out of it for a couple weeks and someone is called up and actually does something -
We can still escape with a winning road trip...if Marquis can avoid the horrible blowup

I know it doesn't matter when the other team has 7 runs, our run production has been fairly disappointing, IMO, against these Dodgers. Maybe their pitching has really found a way against us, but we just can't find a way to score more than 3 runs against these guys

Because for the most part he was pitching good and his defense completely crapped all over him. Even so, I think I would pull a pitcher who when two runs were already in and they had 2 base runners

Ok so the Cardinals trot out their typical lineup of Albert Pujols, crazy Ludwick and 7 people that can't hit, and finally they are getting 2 hit shut out. Its some sort of Karmic Retribution. Hopefully they never score another run.

I don't want to encourage Lou hate, he frustrates me a lot, but thank god he's not Dusty Baker. But seriously, the Lefty-Lefty thing is mindboggling and I wish he would explain it at some level. It makes no sense and really seems to just do the opposition a favor. Plus theres no way Edmonds shouldn't bat 8th or even 9th any time he's in the lineup.
