You know what, I'm willing to say Edmonds has something left in the tank. Another bizarro good move by Hendry? Possibly. Still too early to tell.

The only thing about Lee is that his OBP is about 30-40 points less than I was expecting, but maybe I was expecting too much? He's playing right where Baseball Prospectus has projected him I believe

As impressive as that is, it just upsets me that we haven't won every single one of those 24 games. Getting blanked most of the time is less frustrating than letting a lead get away.

Bad? DeRosa I believe is hitting over .300, Edmonds is heating up big time, and Blanco is the backup catcher. Yes that was why i was talking about this specific lineup But Z is making me look silly

They've played exactly 0 games against Arizona, Atlanta, Florida, New York, and Philadelphia, plus they have 12 games left with us. Wellemeyer is about to surpass his high IP since he was a Daytona Cub in 2002, and Lohse, Piniero, and Looper were all awful in May. They have only 3 hitters OPSing over .800, Pujols, the super overachieving Ludwick, and Ankiel(another person who fell off in May). I think there's plenty of room for them to fall off. That makes so much sense. I badly want it to be true. The Cardinals don't live in our world, they have Bizarro Superman throwing batting practice and all of their trainers have strange looking beards that weren't there yesterday...
