    I prefer watching the Cubs feast on terrible teams and absolutely tee off bad pitching than struggle against good teams. Maybe I have a bad sense of competitiveness. All those good team challenge can wait till the playoffs.

    If Ben Zobrist can muster an OBP of .380 over the life of his contract he's welcome to come to my house and read bible verses to me as I drift off to sleep. Which is what I imagine he'd like to do for all fans.

    Rizzo currently has a .194 batting average and an .867 OPS. He has an OPS+ of 131 while suffering with a BABIP of .133. This dude is an unstoppable menace, even when the baseball gods are doing everything they can to stop him.

    I feel like Fowler, Heyward, Soler and Russell are all getting screwed by bad luck because they keep getting robbed of hits or lining right to people. It's kind of crazy that we hit so many line drives that we have 4 separate people getting screwed Fowler might have been robbed of a couple homers here and there but his BABIP was also .500 going into this game haha. Everyone else though, they're are getting robbed bruuuutally

    Haha Dex's BABIP is over .500. Obviously he's going to come to earth at least somewhat, but I had no idea his BABIP was that astronomical.

    If Arrieta would take a 5 year deal or less, I would have to seriously consider it, no matter what the per-year would be. I don't think he'd consider it though because some dumb team will offer a 32 year old pitcher an 8+ long deal and I am not doing that ever.

    I'm glad *this* is the 2016 Cubs hitters, and the last week was the aberration. This team is just unstoppable if even half the team is clicking.
