    that is something i should have done long ago I feel your pain. I think I'm gonna pick up an R7 draw this weekend with my stimulus check. i used to hit my driver well, but that was about 4 years ago when i played fairly regularly. i also am pretty tall, so i hit my clubs a long way - average drive is probably around 270, and if i really catch a hold of one i can hit it 300. since i used to be a good driver, i keep hitting it when i go out, even though the result is generally not a positive one. the other problem is that i'm only average with my 3 wood. my 5 wood though, i can hit that thing about 210-220 and on a straight line about 80 to 90% of the time. In recent weeks I gave up my woods altogether and started swining a 3 iron off the tee unless it was a really long hole. I've mentioned before that I have a major slice on my driver right now, though I'm consciously working on getting my hands turned over during the swing, and it is helping. The way the R7 draw is weighted should help me out with that. I'm also going to be ordering a set of clones of Taylormade irons, with the 3-4-5 hybrids. If I hit those well, I may drop my 5 wood altogether for a gap wedge instead.

    The Cubs just lost their starting LF and Murton is the most logical man to replace him. . Statistics may suggest otherwise. Do the statistics say how offten that Patterson has played the position he's being asked to play?

    Do share...I don't have a TV nearby. From the rough, pretty big distance, and he hit it about 2.5 feet, maybe. I believe it was a hybrid. Next shot was on though. Glad I recorded it. :)

    That doesn't start until 1pm eastern. Really? That's dumb. They were showing some earlier. Weird. Apparently they are doing some live "cut ins" during that pre-show.

    Wow....Phil has decided not to have a driver in his bag today!

    I don't think Tiger wins, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did. Tiger and Phil paired together in the first round. Edit: Tiger double bogeys the first hole. Ouch.

    Because Hamilton is incredibly talented and turned his life around and he would like to see Bradley do the same. Granted Hamilton's issues were substance issues and Bradley's as far as we know are not. MB was taunting fans at the ballpark the past two night in KC...pulled himself out of the game and took his time doing so with an out or two left on Tuesday night...jumped around like a crazy man after driving in runs on Tuesday. He just needs to chill out. But Hamilton's issues kept him off the field for how long? Cost him how many millions of dollars? He's had half a season of success thus far? Milton Bradley may be a headcase, but he's been successful on the field, and despite his antics hasn't done anything that has kept him off the field for longer than a few game suspension here or there. It's really a pretty awful comparison.

    Phillies-Marlins Top of the ninth, the Phillies have just singled in the tying run...it's 2-1. Phillies single, walk, steal third, k, run scores on fc, wild pitch, IBB, HBP... Bases loaded, game tied 2-2, 2 outs, Jason Werth strides to the plate.... He bunts out to end the inning. He said he noticed the 3rd baseman was playing back and was trying to surprise him. Marlins win on a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the inning. That was a Neifi Perez style play there.

    The Cubs played great when Soriano was on the DL earlier this season. I'm not sure why anyone thinks this time will be different.

    I throroughly enjoy reading Greenstein's stuff, and big whoop if he cried about not getting a job. If true, it was probably big opportunity...nothing wrong with showing some a little emotion over that disappointment. And what does that have to do with anything anyway?
