They have different clubs based on different manufacturers designs, so pick your fave. I've got the commands (based on TaylorMade R7's). I have hybrid 3-5. Stiff shafts. Graphite on the hybrids. Steel on the irons 6,7,8,9,PW,SW. The hybrids have moveable weights so you can draw weight them if you need to. The irons also seem to have weight in the club head and that makes it easier for me, personally, to swing down through the ball rather than top them off. It's not a magic fix for your golf game, but I'm a more confident ball striker. I still slice some, and I still will hit off the toe sometimes when I setup too far away or something. But the only times that I top off now are when I: 1) Bring my head up cuz I'm trying to crush the ball into the next county or 2) I'm on a funky side-hill or downhill lie. Took about 5 business days from order to arrival, and I really don't have a complaint, except that I ordered stiff shafts, and I probably should've ordered regular.

You should be able to...what happens when you try to go to a previous page?
  3. That explains why he wasn't up in the 9th today (if it wasn't known already). Lou mentioned this in his post game. He mentioned Kerry wouldn't be in the ASG and would sit until after that.
  4. I'm too tired to fully enjoy this tonight, but I saw it and thought you all would enjoy the read. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=keri/080711&sportCat=mlb&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos2
  5. Ok, I'm locking this. 1) Budhouse is no longer a poster on this board, so mocking him is a little pointless. 2) There isn't a lot baseball discussion going on in here now. 3) There's a more appropriate Wood thread that was started, so lets praise Wood there rather than beat down ex-posters here.
  6. He'll come back to the Packers or stay retired still IMO. Everyone is saying how this is a bad situation for the Packers to be in, but they really do have all the leverage in this. So the Packers don't have to give him his release? I don't see him going to Tampa or Baltimore. I don't think Brett just wants to play, he wants to win a championship. Minnesota is the best option. The Packers aren't interested in bringing him back. That said, they probably don't want to see him play elsewhere. The way Brett has done this is to try to make it a mutual parting. If he wanted to be a jerk, he could just flat out apply for reinstatement. That would force the Packers to either accept it, or release him. He's trying to get them to do that voluntarily.
  7. That's why he's owning us. He's throwing the deadly, rarely used, opitch!
  8. Cubs, Please allow fewer than 7 home runs today. Thanks. Banedon

I need to learn how to use my SW from the fairway on like 60-80 yard approaches. I use my PW but dial it down to like 1/2-3/4. Id like to be more consistant with a full SW. Why not get a gap wedge? Hmmm i forgot i had a gap wedge in my bag. From what i remember the gap wedge i have is in between the PW and 9I, im going to go double check. I maybe in line for a new club. I think its the bounce of my SW that is giving me the inconsistency compared to the PW. So if you were to use your SW from that 60-80 yard approach, what problem would you have? Accuracy? Length? Both?

You know what will help more than a putter? Just going out to a putting green and practicing for like an hour. I like to line them all up in a line to the hole. Then start with the closest and work my way out. If I miss one, I have to do it again. You can go out as far as you feel like you should be able to 1 putt. Also you can put a bunch a long way from the hole and try to 2 putt them all to practice lag putting. Not that I'm a great putter, but I'm a heckuva lot better than I was a couple weeks ago just from a couple practice sessions.

Great news! It's definitely still possible to top balls, but it's definitely weighted to help get down on the ball easier. I got stiff shafts on mine, and I'm paying a little bit of a distance price at the moment as I get comfortable with that...but no doubt I'm playing better golf with my Pinemeadow Commands.
  12. Are these wind aided homers? Yahoo says the wind is blowing out hard to center.
  13. This would be true if the Brewers hadn't picked it up and started playing a lot better. The Cards are .500 since June 1. The Brewers are 8 games over .500 since June 1.
  14. So immediately following what looks to possibly be one of the best trades that Jim Hendry has pulled off, one of your name possibilities is JHpleasegohome?
  15. i didn't know you lived in 1957. Drive-ins are back. There's one about 45 min from here. It's fun, but I can't go see anything that I actually want to pay attention to there.

  17. The Cubs sure look the best right now.
  18. These answers probably say more about you than those you are attempting to distance yourselves from. Am I the only one suprised that goony of all people won't go see a movie alone? Actually, he hasn't said that. And the question wasn't "Will you go see a movie alone?" It was "Do you to the movies alone?" Those are very different questions. I answered no for the second question, but I'd answer yes to the first.
  19. No way. If they think they're a QB away from winning a SB, fine. But just "competeting for a division title"? That's not enough for me to want to take him on. I'd only take him if he's the final piece of the puzzle.
  20. sarchasm? whatever...i guess we are both still sleepy there's no "h" in sarcasm guys. nor is there a "e" in Lilly. It was an intentional misspelling guys. Get it? Large sarchasm? Look for the double meaning.
  21. I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe some people aren't insecure or worried about strangers judgements of them, but maybe they just PREFER to go with others? I don't order pizza with mushrooms on it. That doesn't mean I'm afraid of mushrooms, or hate mushrooms, I just don't prefer my pizza with them.
  22. You guys really like Monsters Inc that much? A Bug's Life is really underrated imo.
