    McNabb's looked meh the last 2 games, Westbrook's status I believe is up in the air as well. McNabb looked meh in Dallas? I'll take "Meh" McNabb over Orton every week... But yeah, this game scares me more than the Colts game did.

    Is that because of the play style, or because they're out of gas? Probably both.

    Someone talked about how if an otherwise mediocre team caught a couple of breaks, they can go 9-7 or 10-6 and make the playoffs, well those were our breaks this year. Starting out 3-0 would have given us an excellent shot at the playoffs. Starting 1-2 with 2 vs. GB, 2 vs. Min, Phi, NO, Jacksonville, etc left on the schedule is not good. Not disagreeing with you, but it should be noted that of the teams you mentioned, Minny, Jax, and NO all have the same record as us...with NO and Jax each having played 1 home game, like us...and Minny already having played 2 home games.

    I totally get that you're frustrated, and I agree it was a stupid thing for him to do....but the guy has what...4 forced fumbles already this year? Tillman makes some very visible mistakes sometimes, but he's one of the most valuable guys on this defense. Tillman was about one of 5 or 6 mistakes that could've iced this: Desmond Clark dropped a pass on what...the one yard line that should've been easy. Rashied Davis let that pass go right through his hands. If you want to start cutting people, he's a good place to start. Robbie Gould missing a 49 yarder early in the 4th. Can't just make the easy ones Robbie. Gotta make a few tough kicks on occasion. Total defensive collapse in the last 4th and OT. The whole team was winded. Makes me wonder about Lovie's camps. The hurry up offense destroyed them. Where is Brian Urlacher? He's been almost completely invisible this season with one or two exceptions. Briggs meanwhile has been everywhere. The O-line was bad at protection today. Orton had to scramble quite a bit. Seems like we can make holes for Forte (somewhat), but can't keep the line off the QB. Zero sacks is completely unacceptable.

    Cards fans have been ripping on Kennedy mercilessly...and Kennedy has demanded a trade...funny that he hit a GS...

    This pretty much sums up my feeling exactly, about Eddie, PJ, and the song. In fact this song has made me appreciate Eddie's talent a whole lot more.

    I forgot this game was an afternoon game, so I just saw the box score, and have 2 questions: 1) Why did Harden throw 115 pitches? 2) How did he manage to throw 115 and only have 1 run and 1 hit allowed? EDIT: ok, number 2 answered....6 bb's....:(

    it looked weird in color with the different sources. the creepy sky was due to the fact that it was the only photo of the skyline I could find from that vantage point It kinda looks like Gozer was about to arrive at the top of the Sears tower, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow man is about to terrorize us all..... :)

    Thank God, McGowan is probably my least favorite Bear. He has been garbage since he has gotten here. Remember that Steve Smith playoff game? Well, that was Brandon McGowan chasing him around on a few of those long plays. That was his rookie season and he's sucked since. Makes a ton of penalties on special teams and generally sucks as a DB. To think they traded Chris Harris because they were confident in Adam Archuleta and Brandon McGowan is ridiculous. Terrible decisions by Lovie and Jerry. McGowan was very good on ST though.

    They traditionally have that day off in case of rainouts. In this situation we will be playing in a dome. The Colorado series is our home opener, hence the day off in case of rainout. Gotcha. That makes sense. Would've been funny if they'd scheduled the opening series with the Astros at Miller Park for fun.... :cool:

    Strange. We almost always play that first game and then have a day off before finishing the series. That doesn't happen this year, but we get a day off on April 14th in the middle of a 2 game Colorado series? Very odd.

    But it didn't say "Trib and Mariotti in talks". It was posted on Friday saying he'd start on Monday. That's clearly false.
